My phone vibrated and it was my mom.
"Hold on." I told Devon.
I pressed the talk button and put it on speaker.
"Grace!" she yelled loudly.
"Yes." I responded.
"Where are you?"
"At the diner." I said. He looked at me and nodded no.
"No you're not!" she yelled.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I'm at the diner and so is your car, but you're not inside."
I turned off the speaker. "Why are you there?"
"To make sure that you're okay. Why are you not here?"
I grunted and turned towards Devon. "I'm at Devon's watching a movie because my car wouldn't start."
"Is his mom home!" she yelled. She was pissed.
"No, but she was."
"Get your ass home! You know I don't like Devon." she yelled so loud I had to take the phone off of my ear.
"I'll come home when the movie is done."
"One hour...tops." and she hung up.
He looked at me and bit his lip.
"Well," I said putting my phone in my pocket. "She's not happy and we have one hour together."
He smiled and looked down at me. "I guess we will have to make those sixty minutes count then."
I smiled and snuggle with him. When I looked up he looked down and kissed me. I kissed him back and then noticed I broke my promise. I was already in trouble so why would it matter.
I pushed him to laying down and I went on top of him. He took off my sweatshirt and I let him. I took off his shirt and he let me. I didn't care about life anymore. I make mistakes. My mom thinks I learn from them. Sometimes I don't and this time I didn't care. I'm sixteen and I'm a teenager. I'm going to be stupid and do what I want.
"Devon," I said out of breath.
"Yeah." he said kissing my neck.
"How long has it been?"
"Like two minutes." he said kissing my lips.
I looked up and breathed. "No I meant how long has it been since we have done this."
He stopped and looked at me. "A couple months."
I sat up and he put his hand on my waist. I was straddling his body and I put my hands on my forehead.
"What's wrong babe?" he asked rubbing my back.
"I missed this Devon...everything. I had Miller and I loved him. I truly did and I let him walk away from me."
"So why does that deal with me?"
I shook my head and looked at him. "I'm with you." I put my hands on my thighs.
"I know." he responded.
"But, you hurt me...Miller hasn't hurt me."
He nodded and looked at the floor. "You're right." he grabbed his shirt and his sweatshirt off the ground and started to move. I moved off of him and he put his shirt back on.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"You belong with Miller."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
