I was in my room for about four hours and noticed that it was almost eleven. I got so caught up in my book that I didn't see the time. I put the book on my shelf and went to bed. When I woke up, my mom had breakfast for me and my phone next to the plate.

"I think I over reacted about you and Miller coming home late," she said while putting some strawberries on my plate.

"You think," I responded.

She looked up at me and wasn't smiling anymore. "I'm kidding," I said trying to save myself.

"You can see Miller today."

"Awesome! I'll call him right now."

"Hold on..." She said. "I'll be out tonight and tomorrow and won't be home until Tuesday...so make sure you have a friend sleep over...who is not Miller."

"Why not Miller?"

"Because you two are now dating and I don't want anything to happen..."

"Mom...nothing will happen. I'm mature enough." I smiled and she gave me a hug.

"I know sweetie...but, I have to be protective."

We ate breakfast and I called Miller and told him to come over by noon. It was about eleven thirty and my mom left. I got on some short shorts that my mom would never let me where, a low pink tank top and a purple sports bra on. I wanted to look sassy but myself so I put my hair in a bun. I did my makeup and put on a lot of perfume. I wanted to make tonight special. The doorbell rang an I ran to the door.

"Grace!" He ran in and picked me up! He kissed me on the lips and spun me around.

"Miller!" I laughed.

He set me down and held my hand. I closed the door and opened the windows.

"So," he said. "What happened yesterday?" He asked.

I tried to explain everything clearly and as best as I could.

"Wow," he remarked. "He really is a prick."

"Yeah," I said hugging him on the couch. I laid in his lap and looked up at him.

"Miller,"

"Yeah?" He said looking down at me.

"Thanks for being there for me,"

"No problem Grace...I always have been and always will be."

He then leaned down and kissed me. I laughed and kissed him back. He turned me over and I was now in top of him. It was now a pretty good day.

"Miller?" I asked.

"Yeah..." He responded while stopping.

"Thanks for everything." I laid on his chest while straddling him. He hugged me while we were laying down and it was the best hug that I have ever had...better than Devon's by far.

"So," I said while getting up and stretching. "What are we doing tonight?"

"Not sure," he said while smiling at me.

I hopped and then walked into the kitchen.

"Did your mom let you wear that?" He asked while following me.

"Nope," I said while turning around. "I wore it just for you," I smiled and winked at him. I think he got the hint when I winked at him. He smiled and walked towards me. I had a glass him my hand and he grabbed the glass at put it on the counter. He leaned on me and kissed me. I pushed him back playfully and laughed. "Stop," I whined.
