Chapter 5: I Know That Already

Most of the students are good at dancing especially the son of Mr. Jung. I just don't remember his name.

"Next is You new kid." Mr. Jung said pointing to me. I stand from the floor and introduced myself first then I plugged my phone in the sound system.

While I was dancing the son of Mr. Jung joined me. I was smiling as he was dancing with me. Out of all of us he was the best dancer.

When I was done dancing most of the people in the class started clapping including Mr. Jung and his son. "That was amazing, Jungkook." Mr. Jung said while clapping.

I took my seat again but this time the son of Mr. Jung sat beside me. "Hey you're a pretty good dancer. Ohh I'm Jung Hoseok but call me J-Hope." He introduce himself. "My name is Jeon Jungkook. You're a much better dancer than I am." I complimented him.

"What classes are you in?" He asked me while wiping his sweat. "I took all courses." I said while sipping at my water bottle.

"Can I see your schedule so I can know when we will see each other again." He said. I handed him my schedule without hesitation.

"Today we both have Dance and Rapping Class. Tomorrow we both have math class. Wednesday we have History class. Thursday we have vocal class. Then on Friday we have acting class. I guess we will see each other often. I hope we'll be good friends." He said while returning my schedule and offering his hand to shake hands with. I accept his hand shake and smiled to him.

=Time Skip (Vocal Class)(9:30 A.M.)
I left the dance room because Mr. Jung already dismissed us. J-Hope hyung invited me to have lunch with him and some of his friends so I agreed.

The bell rang which means 2nd period is about to start so I hurried to the vocal room but just like earlier I decided to wait for the teacher before going in.

I can already see a teacher coming my way. The teacher is a woman in her late-20s.

"Are you by any chance new?" She asked me smiling. I nodded my gead eagerly. "Ah yes. My name is Jeon Jungkook. Nice to meet you." I said then bowed.

"Ahh. I'll be your Vocal Teacher. My name is Ms. Kim. Nice to meet you Jungkook-sshi." She said smiling.

I opened the door for her and I too went inside. The class suddenly quieted down. They all looked at me. Some of the students are from mt dance class earlier.

"Class I want you to meet a new student. Jungkook-sshi could you please do an introduction for those who don't know you yet." She said and I stand in the middle.

"Hello. My name is Jeon Jungkook. Please look after me." I said and bowed. "Please sit beside Areum. Ms. Areum please raise your hand." Areum raised her hand but she wasn't listening. She was reading her book or novel.

I sit beside her and put down my bag. "Since today is first day of school I want to know how much you have grown since last year. Let's say this is a evaluation to get me to know how capable or confident are you in your voice." Ms. Kim instructed.

"Since Jungkook is new here I want to listen to his voice first. Would you mind Jungkook?" She asked. Of course I have no choice but to sing. So I walked to the front of the class.

"Are you ready Jungkook? Do you want some music?" I just nodded my head. I plugged my phone in the sound system and I sing like it is my last song.

While singing I was always looking at Areum. She looked back at me. And we were staring at eachother. I avoided eye contact because I might cry.

I finished the song and they applauded. "Wow Jungkook. You're voice is a mix of gold and honey. Meet me after school, if you want or can. I just want you to meet someone." Ms. Kim said while patting my arm.

"I'll try Ma'am." I said while nodding my head. I sat back at my seat and listened through the class sing.

It was Areum's turn to sing. She plugged in her phone. She now stands in the middle and sings.

I looked up from my desk and met her eyes looking straight at me. Her eyes shows sadness and anger.

When she was done singing I clapped but not too loud. Most of the guys were cheering her.

"Areum your voice is still amazing." Ms. Kim complimented Areum. She thanked Mrs. Kim and went back to her seat.

When the class was done singing it was already near dismissal so Ms. Kim gave us the remaining time to talk to our friends.

I decided to just take a nap since I have no friends in this class. Well except Areum. But was already talking to her friends.

I rest my head in my arms which is laid in the desk. I was eavesdropping Areum and her friends conversation because they were talking about me.

'Areum do you know the new guy?' Some girl asked Areum. 'Nope. I only met him today.' She said popping the p in nope.

I opened my phone to check if I have some messages which I do from mom. She's wishing me luck in my 1st day of school. I smiled and wished her luck with her 1st day of work.

I closed my phone and the bell ring. Ms. Kim dismissed us. I was the first one out of the class.

=Time Skip (Math Class)(11:00 A.M.)
Next period is math class. I fast walked to the math class and this time I didn't wait for the teacher and just went inside. Which is a bad idea since everyone is now looking at me.

"Jungkook!! Here come sit by me." I looked over and saw Jimin hyung raising his hand for me to see.

I smiled and went over to his side. "Oh hyung you go to this class too." I stated the obvious. I have to be comfortable around them to avoid any suspicion.

I just sit beside him and play with my hands. "Hey I thought we're friends. You can talk to me." Jimin hyung said while facing me. I smiled

"I know that already."
