Chapter 3: I Don't Remember You

"Tae-Hyung, I miss you too" I said on the verge of crying but I kept myself composed. "Kookie-ah where did you go? I was worried, we were worried. Because you suddenly left Busan." He said while looking at me with worry written in his face. "Awww you don't have to worry about that. The inportant thing is that I'm back." I said while chuckling. "Well, I guess you're right." He said sighing. 

"Come with me Kook. I wanna catch up with you." V hyung said while dragging me somewhere what seems to be a garden. "Yah!! Slow down will you." I said while laughing. We stopped running and sat down to a nearby bench. "Soooo Kook, wanna share something with me?" He said while wriggling his eyebrows. 

"How about you tell me what happened when I left?" I changed the topic since nothing interesting happened to me when I left Busan. "Well okay then. What happened was that we were about go to school and we heard that you left and transferred to another school. Then of course we felt betrayed but I did not take it too personal but those two did because I know you will come back. But they still hate you 'till now, I think." He said while looking at the ground. "I'm sorry for leaving without any notice." I said patting his back.

"Well yeah you should say sorry but not to me but to those two." He said while rubbing his temples. "Oh and by the way you should be careful because they're here tonight. Apparently Hyunjae Imo invited all of her friends along with their families." He warned me. 

'She's here then. I guess I have to be extra careful' I thought to myself. While I was thinking I didn't realize that my phone was ringing not until V Hyung said it was ringing. It was mom telling me that I should meet her at the backyard. We went to the backyard. There was so many people in here but the space was large that it looks like it's not packed. 

"I want to thank the people who attended my Housewarming Party. I want thank the people who spent their time building this beautiful house specifically the construction workers and architects." HyunJae Imo stands in the middle for her Housewarming speech. 

"Those two are in your right." V hyung whispered to me. I was tempted to look but I controlled myself. When HyunJae Imo was done with her speech she invited all her guest inside her house. Which is no problem because all of her guest can fit in her new house.

"Hey Taehyung. How are you? You never replied to any of my text." It was that girl again. What was her name again. Oh right, Lee Jihee. "And you, you never said your name. That's rude you know." She said while linking her arms with V hyung which in no time V hyung unlinked.

"Jihee, for the love of God, leave us alone. Is it not obvious that I don't wanna talk to you." V hyung said. Her face became red like a tomato. "You're gonna regret this Kim Taehyung." She said while walking away and pointing at us.

"Fangirls?" I said while chuckling. Of course V hyung has fangirls. He's handsome, smart and rich. Any girl wants in a guy. He just nodded his head while chuckling. "Jungkook, let's g-" My mom said but was interrupted because she recognized V Hyung. 

"Taehyung, nice to see you here." She said while hugging hyung. "You too Jihye Imo." Hyung said while returning mom's hug. "Well then let's go inside boys." She said as she gestured us to follow her. "Stay here for second. I'm gonna get your HyunJae Imo." She said and walk away to find HyunJae Imo. 

"Want some drinks Kook?" V hyung asked me. I just nodded my head. He left me to get us some drinks. I was looking around and I saw Her linking arms with Him. I guess Her 'honey' is Him. They were talking to HyunJae Imo.

"Here's your drink Kook." Hyung said, handing me my drink. I sipped and it was Juice. I looked over V hyung with a Are-You-Kidding-Me face. "What?" He simply said. "By the way Kook, where will you study?" He asked me while sipping his drink. I don't really remember the name but I think it was "Busan Academy of Performing Arts." I said. V hyung choked on his drink. I pat his back to help him cough. "B-Busan Academy of Performing Arts?" He nervously asked. "Yes. Why is there a problem?" I asked him curiously. "ARE YOU CRAZY. THOSE TWO WILL STUDY THERE TOO." He said through gritted teeth. 

'Sh!t' I just thought. "I'm sure we will not meet there." I reassured him. "But if you do meet pretend you have amnesia. It always works for me." He said chucking. "Hey that's not a bad idea." I said thinking about me having amnesia.

V hyung was about to talk again but was cutted of by HyunJae Imo. "Jungkook-ah and Taehyungie can you come with me. I want you to meet my Niece and his boyfriend." HyunJae Imo said while dragging us both somewhere in her place.

We're close to the persons HyunJae Imo wants us to meet because I can already see a back of a female and male. Wait..... I know that dress. It's Her dress. No I can't meet Her yet. Not now. V hyung seemed to know who they were and was poking my back. "Kook-ah that's them. Pretend you don't know them." He whispered to my ear.

"Areum-ah. I want you to meet Jungkook." HyunJae Imo said. Areum's back seemed to stiffened. She turned around slowly and.....Smiles? "Nice to meet you Jungkook." She said while offering her hand for a handshake. As for Jimin his face was shocked. Then his face turned into a more angry or more annoyed face. 'Sh!t. I want to leave now.' "You seemed to have met Taehyung." Jimin said through gritted teeth.

"So Girl and Boys I'll leave for now. I have a lot of guest to attend to."HyunJae Imo left us. We awkwardly stand in the middle of the room. Silence taking over us. You can almost here a pin drop. I was about to speak but Jimin beat me to it. "Why'd you leave?!" He suddely shouted. I flinched from the sudden outburst. 

I have to pretend that I don't know them. "What are you talking about?" I simply said. "Don't play dumb Jungkook." This time Areum said to me. "We just met today. I don't know what you guys are talking about." I said with knitted brows.

"Oh really Jungkook but you know Taehyung." Jimin said while coming closer to me. I backed away 'till my back meets the wall. "What are you guys doing?" I have to play dumb. Jimin suddenly grabbed collar with both of his hands. I guess V hyung was right that they are still angry at me.

"He doesn't remember me." V hyung suddenly said. Jimin and Areum looked over to him with disbelief written in their faces. "I approached him because I knew he was Jungkook." He continued. "I suddenly hugged him but he took off my hands from me." He finished with sadness in his eyes. 

"I-is it true?" Areum asked me this time. "I don't know any of you guys." I said simply. Jimin hyung lets go of my collar and is on the brink of crying. "You don't remember us?" Jimin Hyung said while wiping his tears. 

"I don't remember you."
