Jungkook POV
The alcohol starts to get in my head. It's my eighth bottle, but I need more to forget.
I heard the door creak open, but I couldn't care less. It might be a burglar, but he can take anything he wants since mom mostly owns everything.
Mom. I thought about her again. A tear started to escape my eye. I slide myself in the corner of my room drowning myself in alcohol. The only possible way to escape the harsh reality.
I was still in my suit and tie. The funeral happened earlier this morning. I just laughed, knowing that the person who killed her is alive and well.
I hate myself. I hate me. I hate my guts. If I just go home and not chase that suspicious guy, she could have been still alive. But I didn't, I chased the guy, and she died.
I chuckled at how dumb I am. I should just die. In my anger and frustration, I threw the bottle across the room. That one piece of glass turned into a million.
I keep throwing every empty bottle at the wall until there is none left. I opened another bottle and downed it fast, making my throat burn.
I heard footsteps outside my door. One person. No, it's more than one person.
A knock was heard at the door. "Leave me alone!" I shouted at the door, not caring who is on the other side.
"Jungkook, it's us." A man's voice was heard. "Who's us?" I shouted seriously not knowing who they are.
"Can we come in?" Another voice said. "Suit yourselves," I said not caring anymore and taking another drink of the beer.
The door opened slowly, revealing BTS and Areum. Their faces were plastered with concern. I chuckled and downed the contents again.
"J-Jungkook, are you okay?" V hyung asked. I just chuckled darkly. "Do I look okay?" I coldly asked.
I got up from my place, putting down the bottle on a nearby table. My steps getting heavier by the second. My sight becoming rippled.
"What's happening to you?" This time it was Jin hyung. I pursed my lips. I have to forget. I don't want to reminisce what happened a week ago.
"Why do you care? It's like it's important. I just wanna be left alone." I said looking straight into their eyes.
"See, this is a waste of time. I told you guys he just wants attention." Jimin hyung said. I looked up and saw him in front of me.
I chuckled and walked up to him. I pushed him in the chest with my index finger. "I don't want any attention. You want to see me in school in this kind of condition?" I asked him, clearly angry.
"This is what you get for lying. This is karma, bitch." I pulled him by the collar and slammed him against the wall.
The guys hurried by my side forcing my hands off of him. But the alcohol is making me stronger.
"Should I tell them about your dirty little secret?" He said while chuckling. I let him go but not without punching him in the face.
"Tell them then. I don't fucking care anymore. Add more problems in my life because nothing can top what happened to me this week!" I shouted, clearly frustrated.
"You know why? When I came home, I saw my mom stabbed in this very house! I couldn't do shit to save her! So yeah, you can tell my dirty little secret to them!" I confessed. Their faces plastered with a very shocked face. "So stop bothering me, and let me be." I quietly said. Jimin looks guilty at what he had done.
I let myself out of the room and went to the living room to get myself a glass of water.
Minutes later, all of them came down one by one. "You guys go ahead, I can go home by myself." Areum said to the guys.
