Chapter 3 Bad Idea

Rebecca rang a door bell. She had to much to think about. The first thing she wanted to do was tell the others what she had heard.

Rebecca reached in her pocket for her T- Phone. After feeling nothing she remembered it had dropped into the water when they were fighting that water mutant. She made a mental note to ask Donnie for a new one.

"Rebecca. Thank goodness." Casey swung open the door. "Mom and Dad are out and I'm in charge of the little brat." He said quickly grabbing some books. "Then I forgot April invited me to study and I cant bring the dork along so..." Rebecca put a hand up to silence him.

"What exactly does this 'studying' consist of?" She giggled. "Don't lie to me.... I know your going on a date with April." Casey gave a weak smile. "Have fun." Rebecca patted his back.

"Thanks a million." Casey began to leave the house.

"Oh by the way... I'm going to have to bring her to the lair." Rebecca said quickly grabbing his arm. "There are some urgent things I have to tell the 'guys'."

Casey looked at Rebecca. "It's really that important?" She nodded her head. "Alright... Just make sure to bring her home before my parents get back...." Rebecca let go of his arm.

She waved as Casey disappeared from sight. "Donnies not going to be happy..." She thought. Rebecca turned back to the open door. She cracked her fingers.

"Here we go."

"Perfect!" Raph shouted. They were in the lair still trying to make some sort of food. "We'll make this!" He pointed to a picture in a cooking book.

"Don't you think it's a little difficult?" Donnie asked.

"Hey! If we make this we'll prove to Rebecca we can cook without her!" Raph grinned.

"I don't know dude..." Mikey looked at the massive cake on the pages. "Besides... what the shell is a lb?"

"It stands for pounds Mikey." Donnie put a hand on his face at his brothers idiocy.

"How does that stand for pound?!" Mikey looked at his brother in disbelief. "I'm freaking out here man! What kinda sick joke is this?" He shoved the book into his brothers face. "Lb is not a pound!" He kept repeating.

"We don't have time for this. Alright everyone." Leo grabbed the cooking book. "Let's do this."

An hour later Rebecca entered the lair with a child in hand.

"I'm back guys." She set down a little girl with two adorable pigtails. She immediately took off and began to explore the strange new place. "Guys?" Rebecca peeked into the kitchen.

The turtles were covered in batter. Eggs littered the floor and icing was on the walls. All of them looked completely insane.

"That's it!" Raph opened the freezer. "I'm eating the cat!" He yelled shoving the little ice cream kitty into a cup.

"No!!!!" Mikey lunged at him. Leo and Donnie tried to get ahold of the cat.

"Raph you can't eat Mikey's pet!" Leo tried to reason.

"It's made of ice cream isn't it?" Raph growled.

"Um...guys?" Rebecca walked in. The boys froze. She put her hands on her hips. "I can't leave the house for one minute without you guys turning into cat eating freaks." Rebecca giggled.

She swiftly snatched ice cream kitty out of Raphs hands and put it back into the freezer. It gave a grateful meow. Rebecca remembered the day Mikey had mutated the cat in the lair. It seemed like such a long time ago.

"I'll make dinner. Can you guys help me watch Elizabeth?" Rebecca asked.

"Wait... you brought the little monster here!?" Donnie exclaimed.

"Yes so what?" She had already begun to clean up their mess.

"Waphie!" A high pitched voice squealed. Elizabeth had managed to somehow sneak up on them. She clung onto Raphs leg.

"Eeeeeh!!!!" Raph took a step back and began to flail around. "Get it off! Get it off!"

"Oh for goodness sakes it's just a child." Rebecca rolled her eyes.

"Looks like Raphs babysitting." Leo said quickly. The others nodded their head and quickly ran out of the room.

"Get back here!" Raph yelled.

"Waphie." She giggled again.

"Why does Casey's sisters like me?" Raph complained. "I mean when the first one grew out of babysitting I was so relieved but now..." He looked at the sweet little girl. "Why did they have to have a third child?"

"Shut up and play with her." Rebecca had already cleaned the kitchen up somehow. "I'll make pizza and then I have something really important to tell Master Splinter."

Raph raised an eyebrow as he pried Elizabeth off his foot. Rebecca gave him a 'this is really important' look. Eventually Rebecca finished some pizzas and left the turtles in charge of Elizabeth. She walked into the dojo to speak to Splinter.

Elizabeth sat across the table chewing on a small portion of the pizza. Her massive eyes silently stared at each of the turtles.

"She's freaking me out..." Mikey whispered. "It feels like she's staring into my soul...." Donnie whacked his brothers head.

Raph fed his turtle Spike. Spike had a close call with mutagen some time ago. If it wasn't for Rebecca the little turtle would have probably mutated.

Elizabeth stuck one of her grubby hands to touch the little turtles head. Raph gave her a death glare.

"You touch him. I break your fingers." Raph growled. The girl looked at him wide eyed.

"And then he just walked away...." Rebecca finished telling Splinter of her encounter with Will.

"I see..." He looked at her with interested eyes. "All we can do is wait then."

"But Master Splinter we should really act. Learn more of Karai's plan. We could be a step ahead of them." Rebecca suggested. He put a hand up to silence her.

"We must have patience. Her plan will reveal itself in due time. All we can do is be prepared for it." Splinter turned away. "Oh by the way... I'm taking a trip to Japan."

"What!!!???" Rebecca exclaimed. "I'm sorry but of all times your.... leaving?"

"I have been planning this trip for some time now. I'm sure you can handle this on your own." Then Splinters voice was replaced with sadness. "Besides.... I'm not going to be here forever. You might as well learn now."

He slid open the door to see Raph chasing around Elizabeth. He held his sai up in the air angrily. She screamed in a mix of joy and terror. Splinter shut it quickly.

"Again.... you must handle things on your own." He moved away leaving Rebecca to deal with the situation.
