Rebecca enjoyed the silence. She seemed pretty confident walking alone at such a time.

"Sister?" A voice hissed through the darkness. Rebecca stopped.

"Will?" She questioned. The voice sounded familiar. She had not heard it in a long time. Not since they killed the Shredder. Her brother exited the shadows.

He had grown taller over the years and became quite a handsome young man. His face was hard and tough but yet welcoming. His features were very nice except for a scar that ran down his left eye.

"Is that a gift from someone?" Rebecca pointed at his scarred face.

"That's who I came to warn you about." Will touched his scar lightly.

"Oh?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Karai is planning something." He said slowly. Rebecca looked at him listening carefully now. Karai had also fled when they had destroyed Shredder. Her father. "She's planning something big."

"I haven't seen you in three years and the first thing you tell me is Karai is planning something?" Rebecca crossed her arms. "Just which side are you on?"

"I'm on my own side." Her brother replied simply. "I am loyal to no one. I'm unpredictable." Will smirked.

"That's why I'm not going to listen. Your lucky I don't attack you." Rebecca began to walk past him. Will put a hand on her shoulder. Her reflexes kicked in and she smacked his hand away. Her hands were ready for an attack.

"Please." Will put his hands up in defense. "I just needed to warn you. The time of peace is over."

"Will. Tell me more of this plan of Karai's." She was still very skeptical.

"I don't know much." He admitted. "I just know she has something important going to happen soon. Very soon." Will put a finger to Rebecca's lips to shush her. "I promise you if I knew more I would tell you."

"So Karai's finally going to make her move huh? We expected it sooner or later." Rebecca sighed. "Will, I can't trust you. After everything..."

"I know..." He looked sadly at his feet.

"There's still some room on the right side. It's never too late." Rebecca gave a weak smile. She wanted her and her brother to be family again.

"It is too late for me." Will said darkly. "See you soon, little sister." He disappeared into the shadows.

Rebecca sighed and turned away.

"I knew this was coming but..." She thought to herself. "A part of me wishes that the peace wouldn't end. That we could go on like this forever." Rebecca shrugged. "Then again... I was getting bored of the silence."
