Chapter 18 Emori

"Guys!" Rebecca ran into the lair with Cadence.

What she saw surprised her. Raph and Leo were being set down on the couch as Donnie cleaned them up. It looked like the two turtles went through a serious beating. They were barely conscious.

"What happened!?" The two girls yelled in unison and ran over to them. Raph put a hand to his head.

"They ran into Emori." Donnie replied for them as he dabbed up their blood with a cloth.

"What!? But Mikey is fighting him right now!" Rebecca exclaimed.

"He's what!!!!!????" The turtles all sat up at once.

"We need to help him!" Raph stood but began to wobble. He turned a little pale as Donnie set him back down. "If that idiot gets captured again I swear..."

"Quiet Raph. You can't go. Your both injured." The purple clad turtle shook his head.

"That's never stopped us before." Raph clutched his throbbing leg.

"Leo?" Everyone looked at their leader. He looked really worried. With a trembling voice he replied.

"I-I don't know." It was silent.

"Lets contact Splinter. He'll know what to do." Rebecca suggested. Everyone nodded in agreement.

Donnie set up the call. It began to ring. Suddenly someone appeared. It was Splinter. Wherever he was it was dark. He wasn't looking at the screen. He seemed distracted by something.

"Master Splinter?" Leo questioned.

"In just a moment my sons." Splinter looked a little uneasy. "Hello?" He called out into the darkness. "Anyone there?" Next thing they knew a high pitch sound rang through the speakers on the phone. They could see feathers and a lot of commotion as Splinter dropped the phone.

"Father!? Whats going on?!" Leos eyes widened. Suddenly it said the connection was lost. The turtles sat in silence. No one understood what happened.

"What are we going to do?" Donnie stared at the ground. Rebecca looked at all their broken faces.

"Well I'm going to help Mikey." She stood.

"You cant go alone!" Raph exclaimed.

"Watch me." Rebeca grabbed her spear, then turned and left the room. Donnie kept Raph down.

"You cant go. You guys are too severely hurt." Donnie tried to reason.

Raph watched her leave. Cadence stood.

"I'll go with her." She then ran after Rebecca.

Rebecca ran as fast as she could. Her heart thumped and sweat trickled down her forehead. She gasped for air as her throat grew sore and her legs grew tried. She climbed up the roof ladder and immediately began to search for Mikey. There was no trace of Emori or the foot ninjas. Sadly Mikey was no where to be found either. Rebecca was starting to panic.

"Mikey?!" She called out foolishly. "Mikey!!!???"

"I cant believe you call yourself a ninja." Emori spoke.

"Show yourself!" Rebecca growled and lifted up her spear. "Tell me where Mikey is." Emori swung out from a small water tower on the roof. He held onto the ladder and looked down at Rebecca.

"I've been waiting for this." He pulled out twin pistols. She glared at him.

"Your such a coward! Your too frightened to fight me fairly." Rebecca hoped that would make him drop the guns.
