"Is that all you got?" Cadence held her katana high. She stood in the training room with Leo. They were sparring.
"Why don't you come and find out?" Leo smirked as he moved his sword into a defensive position.
She sent her blade down sideways. He parried and moved forward. He tried to swipe his leg under her. Cadence flipped backward avoiding the dirty trick.
"I'm not falling for that again." Cadence giggled and struck again. They clashed once more and began to turn their weapons in circles. The speed accelerated. Soon both of their katanas flew out of their hands.
They both smiled at each other. Without warning Cadence switched to hand to hand combat and lunged at the turtle. They rolled on the ground trying to pin the other. Cadence smirked down at him with a sweaty face. She held a sword she had retrieved and pointed it to Leo's neck.
"Do you give up?" Her tone was smug. Leo nodded his head in defeat. Cadence still sat there. She gazed into Leo's eyes.
Rebecca wiped away her tears from the encounter with Raph. She walked toward the training room hoping Leo would be more eager to talk about that then the hotheaded turtle. She froze at the doorway.
Cadence's lips were on Leo's. The blue clad turtles eyes were wide with surprise. Cadence pulled away with a blush on her face. Leo noticed Rebecca. She stood at the doorway with clenched fists and slowly turned away.
"Rebecca..." She heard them call to her. She couldn't turn around. Rebecca couldn't let them see her cry. Without a word she ran right out of the sewers.
Leo looked at Cadence. He didn't know what to think at the moment. He ran after Rebecca. Cadence stood there with a mix of emotions. She hated making Rebecca upset. She didn't even remember leaning forward to kiss him. It just sorta happened. She wondered if he even liked it, but strangely the only thing she could think of was going to see Donnie.
Rebecca sniffed. Her world seemed to be crumbling around her. She sat on a roof and clutched her knees close to her chest. Tears ran down her face. It seemed like she lost two people she loved. She felt like a child again. A weak child unable to do anything but cry.
"Where the shell did she run off to?" Leo sighed and looked around. He peeked out of the alley way he stood in. Suddenly there was a crack of thunder. A few drops of rain began to pour down. He let out an upset sigh and climbed up to the roofs of New York.
I told you the feels were coming...
