"Not so tough now huh?" Karai smirked as she dug her blade deep into Raph arm. He gritted his teeth in pain. "Oooh looks like I'm going to... twist!" She turned the blade making Raph bite his tongue.

He refused to scream. His tongue began to bleed as he bit down on it. Karai was having fun cutting up the turtle. Rebecca struggled to break free. The turtles couldn't do anything to help.

"Stop! Please!" Rebecca screamed.

She smirked and continued to hurt him. Cadence was hitting Emoris hand. It did nothing but tick him off. He dangled her over the bridge with Leo and Donnie. Rebecca had tears in her eyes as she struggled to break free. Raph was covered in bloody gashes.

"Stop! Stop hurting him!" Her voice cracked. Karai stood and walked over to Rebecca smugly.

"He's just a monster." Karai slid the knife to Rebeccas face. "Or do you really care for this animal?" She gently let the blade bite into Rebeccas face. "You look rather pathetic right now." Karai giggled and flicked her forehead. "I guess I'll see that expression forever frozen on your dead corpse." She then jabbed the knife into Rebeccas ribs.

The sound of a gunshot rang out over New York city that day. As the rain bore down on them. Emori stood with his pistol raised. Karai was in frozen shock as a numb feeling seemed to vibrate her hip. Then searing pain spread throughout her body. Blood gushed out of the bullet wound in her side. Karai fell to the ground.

"Why?" She glared at him. Emori set down Cadence and the turtles.

"No one hurts my sister." He growled. Will aimed the gun at Karais forehead. She flinched in fear. Karai lifted her hands up in defense like that would stop a bullet. Will lowered his gun. "Your nothing but a coward." He tossed the gun to the ground. "Death will claim you soon enough."

Cadence and Leo began to fight the incoming foot ninjas. Donnie was helping his two brothers. Rebecca smiled weakly at her brother. Will started to her. Something was wrong. Her face was pale and she clutched her ribs. Rebeccas clothes were soaked with her blood. Without another sound her legs buckled and she fell off the bridge.

"No!" Will jumped over the edge. Rebecca had passed out. Her hair whipped around in the wind. Blood droplets flew up. Will only focused on his sisters face. "I did this to you. I've become a monster." He wrapped his arms around her. "I wont let you die. I'll always keep you safe. Always." Rebecca opened her eyes. He placed a gentle hand on her face. "My dear little sister." Then they hit the water.

Raph glanced over the edge. He saw the splash. He then blocked an attack from an incoming ninja. As he kicked it aside he turned to Leo.

"They just fell in!" He exclaimed.

"What!?" Leo couldn't believe it as he hacked away at the enemy.

"I'm going in after them!" Raph slid his sias away.

"No we need you her-" There was a bang.

Cadence toppled over. The samurai glared at Karai. She held Wills fallen gun. Karai clicked the trigger again but nothing came out. The pistol was empty.

Cadence clutched her bleeding shoulder and practically lunged at her. They kept hitting each others wounds.

"We need you here!" Leo ran and quickly broke them up.

Karai and Cadence had lost a lot of blood. Donnie pulled her away and slipped off his bandana. He pushed it against her wound in her shoulder.

"Apply pressure to it to stop the bleeding." Donnie instructed to Cadence. She put her trembling hands on the now bloody bandana.

A ninja jumped up behind Donnie. Mikey quickly whacked it with his nunchuck. "Looks like everyone is getting hurt today..." He commented.

"You've hurt too many of my family members." Leo glared at Karai and slid out his katana.

"Leo.... Think about what your doing." Karai weakly backed up. She was practically begging. Her face was full of anguish. Leo paused for a moment. Karai smirked and swooped her leg at his. He toppled to the ground. She retrieved his katana and pressed it against his neck.

"Oh Leo you've always been so gullible." Karai giggled.

"Good thing I have his back!" Raph sent a hard kick into Karais face making her fly backwards. She stopped just when she was about to fly off the edge.

"This isn't over! I will hunt you down till the day you die. Shredder will rise again!" Karai then chucked herself over the bridge. Leo and Raph looked over the edge. She was nowhere in sight and the water was undisturbed.

Raph then backed up. Leo gave him a questioning look. He dove off the bridge.

"Raph!!!" Leo yelled. He was already in the water looking for Rebecca.

He didn't have time to chase after him. Donnie called him over telling Leo to hold Cadences hand. She needed something to grip since she was in so much pain.

"Leo..." Cadences vision was going blurry. He squeezed her hand.

"Stay with me. Its going to be all right." He needed to keep her awake.

Bright vibrant pictures appeared in Cadences mind. She remembered Japan. It's beautiful sakura petals danced in the morning breeze. The small village with a large forest surrounding it. Her father stood in front of her teaching little Cadence how to use her katana. Those were good times.

The next image was almost too much. Her village was in flames. People screamed and ran. Cadence just stood there with tears in her eyes. She remembered searching for her father in the chaos. She reached her house. It collapsed. The terrifying image of her fathers bloody hand protruding from the rubble was the only thing she could think of.

"Life is a terrible thing..." She thought faintly. Cadence remembered the day of the funeral. She held the hand of an adult she didn't know. He was suppose to be her new parent. Cadence remembered running away before that could become reality.

Images of her time growing up flashed across her mind until Leo and Donnie appeared. Their smiles and laughter. For once she felt loved. It was such a warm memory.

"But its also kind...." Donnie flashed across her mind. "...and Sweet." Leo appeared. Cadence smiled and opened her eyes. She barely noticed the stinging in her shoulder. Leo and Donnie were the only ones she focused on. "My family."
