Chapter 21 Turtle Power

Rebecca looked around the massive city. Finding Mikey wasn't very easy to find. As she jumped to one roof she stopped and backed up. A small green dot hung high on a bridge. His hands were tied to a sturdy line. His nunchucks hung teasingly next to him. He was bruised and had a few bleeding cuts. Rebecca ducked down to hide. Foot ninja stood on watch. She needed to figure out how to get past them.

"Whats the plan?" She heard someone whisper in her ear. Rebecca jammed her fist at the unknown person in fear. Raph fell on his shell. "Ow..." He rubbed his jaw. Rebeca let out a relieved sigh. "What the shell is wrong with you? I'm already wounded as it is." Raph half whispered shouted.

"You startled me. What do you expect, Red?" She noticed Leo and Donnie hiding behind a corner. Donnie was holding  in his laughter. "By the way. What the shell are you doing here?!" Rebecca hissed.

"We've come to help." Leo whispered and joined them behind some crates. He peeked over to see Mikey. Donnie looked very worried.

"Why is it that he always ends up getting captured?" Raph sighed.

"Well lets see... He doesn't train, Hes small, not the best at ninjitsu, cant keep silent...." Donnie began.

"We get it." Leo and Raph said in unison.

"I'm just pointing out the facts." Donnie shrugged. "Our enemies target him because they see the weakness."

"He may be weak in those areas but I know for fact hes not completely hopeless." Raph chuckled. Leo was silent as he focused on figuring out a plan. "Hey isn't Cadence suppose to be with you?"  Raph questioned. Immediately Donnie and Leo turned to Rebecca. They both seemed eager to hear her reply.

"Uh...no. I didn't even know she was even coming with me." Rebecca shrugged. Donnie and Leo looked disappointed.

"I think I have an idea." Leo said after a moment. Everyone leaned in to listen. "Donnie you take care of the guards. Create a diversion first to lure them away. Raph will balance on the line and cut Mikey loose. Make sure he doesn't fall. I'll keep an eye out for Karai or Emori. Rebecca you'll help me out." They nodded their heads.

Donnie moved first. He silently climbed up and threw a smoke bomb. The foot ninjas all turned to look. He then chucked another a little bit of a distance away. They turned to that one. He tossed about a dozen others. He was giving the illusion of more people then there really were.

He hid in one of the smoke bombs clouds. The ninjas had moved a bit of a distance away from Mikey. Donnie jumped out, sending his bo staff down. The ninjas flew of the roof as Donnie practically demolished them. Leo and Rebecca crouched nearby keeping guard. Raph moved quickly on the line and knelt down. Mikey weakly looked up at him and smiled.

"I don't think the line will hold. Your too fat." Mikey chuckled.

"You still have to be a smart aleck, even at a time like this." Raph sighed as he began to cut him loose.

"I am the comical relief after all." Mikey said as he held onto the line as the ropes were cut off.

"Wow." Raph stopped and looked at his brother. "I'm surprised your tiny brain can even hold such a word."

"Dying here." Mikey glared at him.

"Right, right." Raph finished up.

They could hear blades hitting each other. Donnie and Leo looked to see Cadence and Karai. They immediately stood and started running to her. Rebecca tried to stop them but they already left their jobs in the plan.

"Cadence!" They both called out.

She looked over at them. Karai took advantage of this opportunity. She drove her katanan forward barely missing Cadences face. Her cheek began to bleed. Karai swiped her blade to the right knocking Cadences sword out of her hand.

Raph lifted Mikey up. At this point there was foot ninjas on each end of the line.

"Guys!" Raph shouted.

"I'm trying!" Rebecca was clearing foot ninjas left and right but there was too many of them. She needed help.

Cadence sent a few fists at Karai who easily dodged them. She sent her foot into the back of Cadences knee making her fall forward. Karai grabbed her and put the katanan to her neck. Leo and Donnies eyes widened.

"Not another step closer." Karai smirked and pressed the blade into her neck. It lightly ate away at her skin making blood trickle out. Cadence winced at the pain. "Unless you want to see her throat slit."

The turtles took a step back. Rebecca and Raph were completely swarmed by ninjas. Mikey was trying to fight but lost his balance. He grabbed his nunchuks that were hooked around the line and gripped them tightly. The ninjas looked at Karai.

"Leave him there." She ordered. Mikeys grip on his nunchucks wouldn't hold for long. Especially from the rain that made him slide ever so slightly every few moments.

Leo and Donnie turned to see their family. The next thing they knew they were practically bulldozed off the edge. Luckily Donnie used his bo staff to stop from falling over the bridge. He grabbed Leo. They looked up to see Emori smirking down at them.

Emori grabbed the bo staff and easily lifted the turtles up, dangling them over the edge. Karai smiled at her work.  She pushed Cadence into Emoris arms. Karai then walked away from them and headed toward Rebecca. She was pinned down by foot ninjas. Karai crouched down and smirked.

"I've been waiting for this moment. How shall I kill you?" Karai seemed to ponder over it for a moment.  "Lets first see what makes you scream." Karai slipped out a small knife.

"Rebecca!" Raph fought the ninjas that were keeping him down. He managed to stand. Karai looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Or maybe I can hurt the one you love." She smirked seeing Rebecca's eyes widen. She moved to Raph who glared at her. The ninjas were struggling to hold him. Her knife glinted by her side.

I'm evil... gosh... Sorry it took so long to update. I always like to take my time on scenes like this to make them epic and well... lets just say I like to hit people in the feels.
