I could feel the overwhelming sensation again. I ran for the bathroom and lifted the toilet seat to unload everything my stomach contained. I’ve felt this sickness for the past week. I can not tell you how many times I’ve thrown up in the past week. All I can say is this bathroom and I have been seeing a lot of each other lately.

After I finished throwing up I decided I’ve had enough of this. I brushed my teeth and pulled my hair back into a ponytail. I threw on a pair of yoga pants and loose fitting t-shirt. I grabbed my purse and walked down the stairs. I moved to the living room and found Cameron in his usual spot.

“Hey” I said shyly. Things between us have been awkward ever since the night at the party a week ago.

“Hey.” He said back.

“I’m going to the doctors, I’ll be back in a couple of hours.”

He gave me a strange look and then returned his gaze to the T.V.

I sighed and grabbed my keys off the counter.

I pushed open the front door and ran directly to my room. I slammed the door behind me and pressed my back up against the wall. I slid down the wall and pulled my knees to my chest.

A few seconds later I heard my door open. I looked up and made eye contact with Cameron. He came over to me and squatted down in front of my face.

“What’s wrong Grace, what happened?” He sounded concerned.

I contemplated lying to him, but I know that it would do no good.

“Cameron, I’m pregnant.” I chocked on my words.

“What? I mean this is great, I’ve always wanted to be a father!”

“No, Cameron you don’t understand. I’m two months pregnant.” I looked at him with fury in my eyes.

“Two months? You mean..”

I nodded my head as the tears rolled down my cheeks.

“It’s Zach’s baby.”
