I was walking around the house trying to find my favorite bra. I know that sounds silly, but I'm not going on tour without my favorite bra. It's my go-to comfort bra and if I don't have it, my life is not complete.
"Zach? Have you seen my pink and gold bra?" No response.
I huffed and continued to run around the house, I riffled through everything in my way. I was bending over looking through the cushions on the couch when I felt John run past me, making sure to skim the back of my legs.
"John! What are you doing? I thought I told your father to watch you!" I slapped my hand to my face and chased after him. I tripped over a laundry basket and stepped on a plastic car before I caught up to him.
"What... do.. you.. think.. you're... doing" I tried to say even though I was out of breath. I looked up to meet John's gaze. That's when I saw it. My bra sitting on top of his head. John giggled and gave me a smug smile.
"I swear you're just like your father sometimes." I said snatching the bra off his head.
"Why is John like his father?" Zach said practically skipping into the room.
"Oh good, just the guy I was looking for. Would you like to explain to me why John was running around the house with my bra on his head? I tripped over multiple things on the way here, causing me to almost die" I threw my hands in the air and stormed down the hallway.
I heard Zach whisper something to John followed by the sound of his little feet running across the wood floor. I took a deep breath and collapsed on my back on the bed. I was lying there for less then 30 seconds before I felt someone collapse next to me.
"What's wrong babe?" It was Zach.
"Nothing." I said shrugging my shoulders slightly.
"Don't lie to me, there's clearly something wrong." He furrowed his eyebrows at me.
I sighed before I spoke. "I'm just nervous, ok?"
He wrapped his arms around my waist and whispered in my ear "Nervous about what?"
"Everything." I said while turning over. I was done talking and Zach knew it.
Going on tour wasn't the only problem. The problem consisted of many things. First, my life has been moving so fast that I've had no time to stop and breath in all in. John is walking, scratch that, John is running now. What happened to my little baby boy that could do nothing but cry? Now he's falling and scrapping his knees on various surfaces. Zach and I have been living together for 11 months and he hasn't made us "official" or even told me that he loved me, besides the first night we slept in the same room. I know that this shouldn't bother me, but it does. How can you live with someone, sleep in the same bed as someone, and have a kid with someone, but make nothing more out of it? We leave for tour tonight and I'm honestly not ready for what's ahead.
I fell asleep for what felt like 15 minutes when someone wrapped their arms around me and began to carry me down the hallway in the bridal position. I still didn't open my eyes, but by the smell I knew it was Cameron. He always had the smell of Axe after shave lingering on him. I don't know why, but that has always provided comfort for me.
"Cameron you can put me down now." I said lightly slapping his chest.
"Nope, not there yet." He said tightening his grip on me.
I pouted and closed my eyes again. Where is he carrying me? We were outside for sure because the late October air hit me instantly. Cameron now had his hand over my eyes to make sure I couldn't open them. The distant smell of burning firewood began to increase as Cameron kept walking.
"Cam..." He placed his finger over my mouth telling me to shut up.
He set me down in a chair and walked away. I sat there with my eyes closed. I was listening to my surroundings, trying to figure out where I was. I could feel someones warm breath on the back of my neck. "Open your eyes" Zach whispered.
I opened my eyes on demand. I quickly looked around. We were in some kind of woods. There was a bonfire pit with an already lit fire. There was two chairs, a cooler, and Zach.
"I figured we haven't been on a date in awhile and since we're leaving for tour in 3 hours I figured why not?" He looked at me, waiting for a response of some kind.
I motioned him with my hand to come closer. He smiled and slowly approached me. He bent down slightly. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me. Our lips met, forming to each other's every move. I ran my fingers through his hair. The kiss became more heated, he lifted me from the chair and I wrapped my legs around the nook above his hips. This moment was perfect. It was a passionate kiss. A kiss that made my heart race. I opened my mouth for air, when I accidentally let a burn out.
Zach pulled his face back and glared at me for a long time. "Way to ruin the kiss." He smiled and gave a quick peck on the lips before putting me back on the ground.
"So what's next?" I said desperately trying to changes the subject.
"Smores?" He said with the shrug of his shoulders.
Our date lasted a whole 20 minutes before the crying John and babysitter Cameron bombarded us. "I don't know what he wants. I can't get him to stop throwing a fit, I'm about to start crying myself." Cameron said handing me John.
"Alright I'll take care of him." I said leaving Zach and Cameron alone at the campfire.

The bus rolled into the driveway around 7 p.m. The boy's worked quickly to put everything in the correct compartments under the bus. After all the luggage was loaded, Zach came in the house to collect John and I. We were the last three to get on the bus because we didn't want to crowd anyone else.
"Ready?" Zach said while intertwining our fingers.
"I think so" came out somewhere in between in between my deep breath.
Zach walked us to the door of the bus. I climbed the first step and my heart began to race. Two more steps and I was on the bus. I gave the driver a smile as he closed the door behind us. The front lounge was very simple. 2 couches on opposite sides of each other. Zach pointed out the flat screen with the Xbox Mikey brought underneath. We worked our way into the kitchen. Nice marble counter tops, a fairly good sized fridge, some cabinets, and a sink. We made it to the bunk area where I assume we'll all be sleeping. I bent over to put John down, so it would be easier to settle in. Zach quickly grabbed my arm and said "nope" as he dragged me further down the hallway.
He stopped in front of a sliding door in the back of the bus. "After pulling a few strings, I got this done for us." He raised an eyebrow and slid the door open.
My jaw dropped.
