"No sex, non at all."

"Deal." Zach and I said simotanously.

She gave us a nod of approval.

"Besides mom, we already had a baby. How can we do anything worse than that?"

She rolled her eyes and left the kitchen. I guess she didn't like my attempt at making a joke.

Zach and I had exactly one week to get ready before we flew to San Diego. During the days we would pack up a few essintial things. Starting with my stuff, then moving on to Zach. We wanted to save John's stuff for last because we needed more time to plan out what exactly we needed. Zach took me on a picnik during one of those days. It was good because it gave my mother time alone with John. At night Zach would start off by going to his room. After waiting an hour he would sneak over into my room. He would climb in my bed, kiss me, and then we would fall asleep cuddling.

My alarm rang at 3 a.m. I rolled over and was barley able to get out of bed to turn the alarm off.

"Wake up!" I said slapping Zach's foot.

"Do I have to?"

"If you want to catch our flight to San Diego, then yeah." I shot back sacastically.

Zach and my mom were in the car waiting for me. I threw the last bottle into my carry on bag and picked up John. I walked over to the light switch and switched the light off. I turned around and took a deep breath.

"Say goodbye John. You lived in this room for the first 6 weeks of your life and now it's time to start a new chapter." I sighed and walked out of my room.

Zach and I arrived at the airport around 4 a.m. Our flight left at 5 a.m. Zach took John and went to claim our tickets and check our luggae in, leaving my mom and I alone.

"Take care of yourself ok? Remember you can call me if you need anything. If you have any questions about John I'm sure Mrs.Porter can help you out."

She paused.

"And I mean what I said earlier. No sex means no sex."

I nodded and hugged her goodbye. I didn't have much to say to her because something she said threw me off guard. She mentioned Mrs.Porter. Up until this point I didn't realize that I would be meeting Zach's parents. Come to think of it Zach never even mentions his parents. I wonder if they even know about John. The fans and everyone else seems to think Zach was in Florida to write songs.

Zach and I walked to terminal 3A and waited for our departure time.

"Zach do your parents even know about John?" I said very bluntly.

He sighed.

"No."

"What? How were you planning on going about this? Don't you still live at your parents house?"

"I thought about it. I thought about it a lot and I think it would be better if I.. I mean we told her in person. It's better than relying on a phone connection to keep the conversation going."

"Ok. I trust you, she's your mom and if that's what you think is best I'll trust your judgement." I said calmly.

Zach and I boarded the plane around 4:45 a.m. Our flight to California took about 6 hours. Thankfully John slept through most of the flight. I took a nap half way through the flight. I rested my head on Zach's shoulder and John rested in his lap. Zach stayed awake the whole flight stating he was "protecting his family" I thought that was cute, so I went along with it.

When Zach and I arrived at LAX we got our luggage and waited out front for Cameron to pick us up. Cameron knows nothing about John and I, just like everyone else so this ride will be interesting. When Cameron arrived he gave me a wierd look, but didn't ask questions. He took our luggage and put it in the trunk. Zach climbed in the passanger seat, leaving John and I in the back.

"I know that this looks weird, so can you drive to a resteraunt so we can grab some breakfast? I'll explain everything then."

Cameron listened to Zach and drove to the nearest resteraunt. The place was pretty deserted, which made it a good place to talk.

"Soooo.. what's going on here?" Cameron asked clearly trying not to be rude.

"Um. Well remember that night on the tour a couple months ago when I got drunk and started to make out with that fan in our dressing room?"

"Yeah..."

"Well I had sex with her." Zach let his words settle on Cameron for a minute.

"She got pregneat and had a baby. I was in Florida becuase that's where she lives."

Zach grabbed my hand underneath the table.

"We're dating now, but I want to keep this on the down low because she is only 16." He said holding our intertwined hands up for Cameron to see.

Cameron nodded his head and sat in silence for a minute.

"Well this isn't the best circumstances, but I promise that I'll try and make the best out of it." He smiled and asked to hold the baby.

"What's his name?"

"John." I answered.

Cameron handed the baby to Zach and leaned across the table towards me.

"Oh my gosh I'm so rude. What's your name." He said.

"I'm Grace." I said a little embrassed.

"Well hi there Grace, I'm Camron." He playfully shook my hand.

Our meal was really good. Cameron talked the most. He was really charming, he really helped shed some light on the situation. When we were done eating Cameron dropped Zach and I off at the Porter residance. Zach had me waiting in his car because he wanted to go in and talk to my mom before introducing us. John and I were in the car for about 20 minutes when Zach's front door burst open. Voices of people yelling followed.

"..SHE'S ONLY 16, WHAT ON EARTH WERE YOU THINKING? GET OUT, GET OUT NOW!" I heard a woman's voice yell.

Zach was at the car door within 15 seconds. He got in the car and I saw a huge red hand print on his face. I didn't say anything. I just stared at the floor and tried to fight the tears back. My worst fear was coming alive. Rejection.
