3rd POV- The two girls had made no effort since the flight to become friends. Georgia had never been taken advantage of. The girls were sitting in their room in the Avengers facility and as Georgia kept her gaze on her mangled foot, she was the first to speak. "I'm sorry. No one's ever used my leg against me." She really was sorry. "I get mad a lot when people talk about me. Once upon a time, I was normal. Parents, friends, two working eyes and legs. Now I'm working for the government, my uncle has to raise me, and...the world has changed. So much. All my friends are grown ups. I'm still a tween. People call me freak, crip, and...Peter is the only one besides my uncle I really trust. So what about you? Ever normal?" Georgia wanted to learn more about the girl from the jail, she looked up from her mangled leg. "Is anyone really normal? if you want to know more about me then that's a dead end, I'm not one to share." Ash said, Georgia was getting frustrated with the girl. "Ok, we may not be friends but we are going to be roomates whether you like it or not so we are going to make this work whether you like it or not, OK!" Ash looked up from the bed she was sitting on, and glared into Georgia's icy, silver eyes. They were so strange. Something almost as strange as Ash's eyes. Ash sighed, it was almost time to go to bed anyways, Ash pulled off her bandana and placed it on the girls vanity. This was the first time that Georgia had really seen Ash's eyes, Of course Georgia already knew about Ash's eyes but they have always been cover up by her bandana or her bangs. "Have your eyes always been like that?" It was an innocent question so Ash gave in, what's the worst that could happen. "Umm no, when I was around six years old they were doing the daily experiments and let's just say they went a little too far..." Georgia began to feel sympathetic towards the teen. "Mine changed when I fell. I almost died, and the color of my eyes were bleached. They tried color contacts, but I was allergic to the dye that would color my eyes." Ash felt somewhat clamer towards the girl and the conversation, & knew that something bad had happened to the her but was now far more curious. "Really? What happened?" Georgia looked at the ground once more "My..." Georgia looked like she'd vomit. "Parents. Couldn't save me. I fell through ice in Antarctica. I was trapped and saved by an iceberg that formed around my body... Oh god..." Ash knew what the girl was feeling because she had felt it herself. She super sped to go get a bucket from their personal bathroom. Ash came back in milliseconds as Georgia held her lips shut, she put the bucket in front of Georgia and held her hair back. As Ash held Georgia's hair, Georgia opened her mouth and threw up. After doing it a few more times, Georgia finally spoke. "I... I think I'm good." Georgia couldn't hold it anymore and let it out, it burned so much, it was a sore spot she hadn't touched for years. She felt it cut deeply into her heart and soul, but couldn't stop. Ash waited till the girl stopped and took a breath before she let her continue, "The boat they left on... it was flipped as they were headed off the ice docks. Just before I froze over, I heard my mother's last words. 'No. Daniel, we have to save her.' It was so hard when I climbed up and still felt it ringing in my ear. Nothing, not even the bomb that mangled my foot and crushed my eye stung more." Ash felt bad for how she used her leg against her, at first she thought that Georgia was just salty about getting beat but she saw it was more than that, it was a scar that georgia had. Sadly Ash had way too many of these and so did Georgia. At this point Ash thought 'hey, why not' and decided to just give Georgia a glance at what her past was. Ash had major trust issues after what happened with everything, in the academy, the owners would see who you were closest to and bribe them for whatever you told them and your trust, the kids that were your friends would then go and act like nothing was wrong but really they would go behind your back and tell the people who owned the academy and then use it against you, it was rough, yes, but to ash it was just another day of the hurtful life she had. "If it makes you feel any better...I had a rough childhood as well.... When I was around five, I was took to the academy and experimented on and used as a lab rat as well as a soldier. I was sent out on missions and ordered to do some pretty bad things. I met a girl named Alpha on my first day. She was being brainwashed and ordered to "delete" the memories of the kids, sadly I was one of those kids, but I still remember little pieces of my past before the academy. Since telepaths can't permanently "delete" someone's memories it pushed her past her limits to do this and well she would leek some memories so when she "deleted" my memories, I didn't lose all of my memories, so that was good, umm. After some talking to her I called her back to her senses and we became close friends, Me and alpha also met other kids like us, we called ourselves the young league." the girls both laughed before Ash contunited. " But around a year later they split us up to go to different facilities. After that it was just me and alpha, but then." Ash took a breath. "They took alpha to solitary confinement after going insane, so there I was, just left in that jail to rot away, alone..." Georgia had felt like a sister to her now. She just felt torn and whole and a million other things. "Well anyways, it's getting late, thank you, by the way." "No one's ever been this nice to me, so I thought I should" "yeah well , I guess this makes up me throwing you to the ground yesterday." "Night. That was what the punch was for, Bolt." "Actually, call me ash." Georgia smiled and then dozed off.
