"Okay, Murray, I need you and Sly to blast the rudders off all the gallons in the port. With their boats disabled, the pirates won't be able to chase after us once we set sail for Dagger Island." Bentley explained.

"What about those boats out there at anchor? They look ripe for a breaking!"

"Don't worry about it. The pirates won't have time to row out and get them rigged before we're gone. Besides, once you start shooting at those rudders, the Harbor Patrol is sure to show up."

"That sounds like a job for a man of my many destructive habits!"

"You...said it." Bentley then said, not really sure how to reply to that. "Just take out the Harbor Patrol and there'll be no one left to chase after us when we "appropriate" a pirate boat, which I'm leaving to Rae to acquire for us." He explained. "Once Sly unlocks a jolly boat, you guys are gonna get to work. Good luck, sailor." The turtle then disconnected.

Meanwhile, Sly was getting ready to make his leave to join Murray in the pirate ship demolition mission. "Welp, time to put some ships out of commission." He smirked.

Rae got up from the chair she was seated in, strutting over to the raccoon. "Just don't go getting yourselves sunk out there, got it? We need you two, and I don't really feel like going to rescue the both of you when you decide to botch things up."

"Come on, Rae, have a little more faith in me, will ya?" Sly chuckled.

She just smirked. "Then don't give me a reason to doubt you." The fox retorted. "Good luck out there, sailor, and try not to get sunk, 'kay?"

"Yes, ma'am." He winked, Rae chuckling as he quickly pecked her cheek before heading out.

Once Sly was gone, Rae sighed a bit, still grinning though. "Sometimes I wonder why I love him so much... Anyhow, back to what I was doing."

Rae sat back down in a chair as she reached for her Thievius Foxus book. She opened the cover and began flipping through the pages, trying to find where she had left off. Suddenly though, a small piece of paper slipped out as she was flipping through the book, fluttering to the floor. "Hm? What's this?" She closed the book and reached over, grabbing the paper to see something written on it. "Some kind of note? ... ..."

Gasp...!

"Wh-what the hell...? What is this...?" She questioned, trying to keep her trembling voice quiet as not to alert anyone.

"Hm? Hey, is something wrong, Rae?" Bentley then asked.

"H-huh?!" Rae quickly lifted her head, turning toward the turtle. She then stuffed the note she had found back in the book, slamming it closed. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Why do you ask?" She tried to wave it off.

"You just...looked like you saw something you didn't want to."

"Oh, that! I just, uh, found a technique in the book that I didn't even know I could do, and it surprised me, that's all." She fake laughed, rubbing the back of her neck nervously. "A-anyhow, I should go ahead and get going on getting us a ship before Sly and Murray finish their mission. I'll contact you when I've got something." The fox then put her book away before scurrying off out of the Safe House.

Bentley, however, could tell something wasn't right with Rae, since she did make it kind of obvious when she came up with that pitiful little lie. Something is clearly bothering her... Bentley noted. She wouldn't have had that kind of shocked expression on her face over a technique she didn't know about... And then the way she ran off like that only makes it that much more suspicious... Just what did she find that made her want to lie about it?
