"Bentley is tending to Sly and Rae, so he wanted me to prep you for the mission." Penelope said, the Guru managing to have freed both canes, only for them to fall in the water before he had a chance to grab them.

"Oui. The turtle made sounds for le scuba, so here you go, baby, Dimitri au-natural. Your plan, she's worked to perfection!"

"My plan to get you alone in a swimsuit?" The mouse raised an eyebrow.

"Come clean, my lovely, and play your cards straight. These are dangerous waters, and I'm a big, strong...macho, macho man!"

"Okay, first, get over yourself. Second, I mean it, get over yourself. And third, jump in that water and get Sly and Rae's canes! They're the keys to the vault, so we can't lose them."

"Such salty language from such sweet lips. I'll dive, baby, I'll dive for the looovvveee~" Dimitri sang the ending before jumping into the water, Penelope just shaking her head as she rolled her eyes.

"Such a weird guy..." She said aloud.

Meanwhile, Bentley was tending to Sly and Rae, who were awake now, but still a bit out of it. "Well, there's nothing severe... Do you feel in any sort of pain at all?" He asked, shining a light into Rae's eyes, clicking it off so she could answer.

Rae blinked a couple times before rubbing her eyes. "I mean, I feel kinda dizzy... Aside from that, I think I'm--mmph!?"

Bentley suddenly reacted when, out of nowhere, Rae clamped a hand over her mouth, leaning forward a bit. Sly too noticed this and pounced to his feet, placing a hand on her shoulder and the other against her upper back. "Rae! Hey, what's the matter?!" Sly asked worriedly, but then placed a hand against his head from the sudden wave of dizziness that washed over him.

Rae was silent for a long while, until she finally swallowed hard, almost letting out a gasp. "Sorry, I just...felt sick for a minute there. I'm alright now though..."

"You two should get some more rest." Bentley then said. "You both still have a minor concussion, so you need to take it easy."

Rae gave a nod. "I'm gonna go lay down then. My head is still killing me anyway..."

"I'll go lay down with you since my head is still kinda hurting too."

Bentley nodded. "Alright. I'll be above deck if you guys need anything." He then wheeled himself away.

Once Bentley was gone and went above deck with everyone else, Rae slid down off the table, but wobbled a bit. She quickly grabbed onto the table she had been sat on, placing a hand against her head. Sly instantly got to his feet again, but a wave of dizziness washed over him as well, so he couldn't react as quickly as he wanted to. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked, sounding a bit out of it.

Rae gave a small nod. "I'm alright, just got a little dizzy, that's all..."

"Come on, let's go lay down."

She nodded again, grabbing onto his arm as the two slowly made their way over to the bed in the room. Sly helped Rae to lay down first, since she seemed the most out of it, before climbing in next to her. The fox snuggled up against Sly, almost burying her face in his chest. He just grinned a bit, wrapping his arms around Rae as he pulled her closer. Rae just laid there for a long moment, listening to Sly's steady heart beating softly.

His heart... I can hear it... That just means he's alive...alive and here with me. Rae unconsciously gripped onto Sly's shirt as she drifted off into slumber.

Sly grinned again, gently kissing her forehead. She really was terrified of losing me, wasn't she? He wondered, holding onto her tighter. Well, I don't plan on going anywhere, my love, or at least...I hope that's the case. I don't want to ever leave your side, you just mean too damn much to me... Sly thought to himself before he too drifted off to sleep, the woman he deeply loved craddled within his strong, yet tender arms.
