Imagine the centre of your being at the palm of your fingers and focus all the power surging in you at that point.
Try and make a whirlwind using your index finger by rotating it in an anit-clockwise manner along with your forearm.

I found myself seated amongst the trees in the forest. A good five meters of distance around me with the book resting on my lap.
The instructions written in those pages seemed to be for children, which isn't a bad thing since I was still unable to conjure any sort of magic.

"Moon goddess, have mercy!" I exclaimed, wondering how idiotic my actions looked to the world.
Not only was I using my hand to make creepy gestures but I was also seated pretty much alone at four in the afternoon in the middle of nowhere.

"Hey, sweety. How's it going?" I wanted to cry out in frustration when Brandon showed up with an enchanting smile and a bag full of food.

"Pathetic." I grumbled, removing the book from my lap and setting it by my side.
"Don't worry yourself too much, okay?" I looked at him, suddenly all my old fears surfaced. Perhaps it was due to spending  two hours in a forest alone or the fact that I was scared out of my wits, I found myself throwing my arms around Brandon's neck. He stumbled back, letting go of the bag and steadying my form.

"It'll all be okay, Ki. We'll get through this." I knew he was trying to build up my self-esteem but I couldn't see past the end of the prophecy.
"Your grandmother did say that there was a possibility of it not being me and if you learn to control your power-" I frowned since Brandon stopped midsentence, his eyes glazing over. The Alpha must be mind-linking him.

"I'm sorry, Kiara. I have to go, another Alpha has challenged Jacob." He untangled himself from me and placed a kiss on my forehead. His face worried yet not surprised making me wonder if this was in the works for a while.

"I'll come with, he's my Alpha too." He only nodded with my words and turned around to shift leaving me to follow his trail.
The clearing where everyone was gathered was usually used for pack parties, in my entire life I had never witnessed an Alpha battle for power. Though, I've been educated about it enough to know what and why.

Any wolf has a right to challenge an existing Alpha but they never do. It doesn't end well because all Alphas are most protective of their packs and that's what they fight to protect.
Werewolves strive to live in harmony which is why it's unheard of for Alpha battles to break out.

Whatever made the other Alpha provoke Jacob must be ridiculous.
Brandon and I changed in the corner after which he left me to join Jacob and perhaps get further information.
What worried me most was the fact that Fiona was standing right by the side with fire in her eyes and a baby strapped to her chest.

"Are you okay?" I asked immediately as I reached her.
"I am." She replied, so much authority her voice let off, my wolf bowed in admiration.

"Everything will be alright, Luna." A lady around about forty said, looking at the scene with wary eyes. Tiffany and Patty stood behind her with their head held high being strong for their friend and Luna.

Before she could say anything, the Alpha had taken to the centre and clapped his hands to grab attention. The entire ground hushed.

"Good afternoon, my loyal pack members. Today, we've gathered here for something quite out of the ordinary. Alpha Dracon has challenged my position as your leader and provider." One thing I knew for sure was that this pack loved their Alpha with all that's in them.

Alpha Dracon who stood with his members seemed least bothered by the glares he received by the others.

"Please understand that if I do lose, my position as your Alpha will be given to Alpha Dracon and he will combine his own pack with ours. Similarly, if I win, the Crystal pack will combine with ours."
