Resident from the past:

He stayed between the shadows of the trees watching. He missed them that much was true. The guys of Crescent High definitely had a irresistible charm. And of that he knew first hand. His name is Cornith Carnal and its time people whispered his name in the halls of Crescent High again. He is the original Meta after all.

Meanwhile: Ethan pov

Ethan had more questions now more than ever. After the gathering with the Pack. He learned Roman and Rogan were both alphas and their parents the current Alpha and Luna of the Crescent wolves. Roman being the first born will take over from his dad as tradition in the hierarchy of werewolf's. But Roman would have to be mated to come fully into his alpha powers. Rogan could also lead but as a second born his alpha genes would lay dormant and he'll be a powerful Beta at his brothers side. All this information Ethan had to digest but still he wanted to know more.

The next day at school:

Most students at Crescent high were actually wolves. That in itself was unnerving. He knew all of these secrets and he couldn't tell anyone. Charlie even fished about what happened but her assumptions were down right silly if not crude sometimes. When he didn't bite she just shrugged putting on her headphones. His sister ever the most easy going sibling if she wanted to be.

"Hey E, how about skipping school today?" Rogan says casually changing the radio station. They were on their way to school with a few minutes to spare. " Your kidding me right? Wait a minute is this about your brother? " Rogan's awkward smile was his answer. " Come on man since when are you afraid of a little competition? " I teased but stopped when Rogan growls then blushes. I did a double take at his crimson cheeks. He cleared his throat then stopped the car at a red light before speeding down the street. With the wind blowing through his hair and one arm on the steering wheel he looked every bit the confident arrogant jock he pretended to be but I knew otherwise. I smiled knowingly winking at him in the rearview mirror watching a slow lazy smile being returned back to me.

The halls were buzzing with whispers and excitement. I gawked at the strange sight because the student body was actually acting normal like the high-schools I knew. Rogan leaned into me whispering... "Someone's back"
I frowned up at him. " Who?" I ask catching the grim look on his face.
Rogan seems to be lost in his own head. "A ghost of the past I'm not too keen to see." If he didn't sound so serious I would've laughed but Roman was dead serious. Who ever this person was they were not on good terms.

The rest of the day was care free the students even moved on about the latest gossip about the student they were all whispering about that morning. It was in my last class when he appeared. The 'ghost' He walked in wearing black dress pant with a dark navy blue shirt. He looked more like a preppy college student than a highschool pupil. But he hardly seemed out of place. The way he carried himself was with ease and self assurances, like he belonged here.
"Welcome Back Mr Cardinal."
The teacher said nervously waving around the room. "Please take a seat anywhere you like." That was odd for Mr Jameson who was really strict and cold.

Conirth looked right at me then. We locked gazes and something about his slow sweep irritated me like no other boys stare have. He didn't show any emotion or reaction almost like he was looking at a wall or right through me. Taking a seat beside me he basically just ignored me from then on keeping his gaze in the front. The rest of the class eventually went back to doing their class work. But the curious stares was there. He may be a ghost of the past but his presence seems as though he never left.

Lunch came and both bothers and about sixty percent of the student body was missing. Ethan unlocked his phone to check if he had any text from Rogan but there was none. Charlie sat herself down across him slurping a milkshake rather loudly but he didn't even bat a eyelash at her irritating behavior.
"Sooo did you hear about the sudden evacuation of sixty percent of school?" She asks twirling a blonde lock. Ethan shrugged. "Hard to miss, know what it's about?"
Charlie pursed her lips, a sign she's thinking. "We'll that jerk boyfriend of yours is gone so its cool."
I gape at her my mouth open like a fish. Charlie rolls her eyes giving me a disbelieving look. "I'm not blind, jeez you were practically eye raping each other." Someone walks by and she pulls my face closer, whisper shouting. "That guy is the real reason I think." And again I'm surprised by Charlie's perception of things she had no idea about.
Conirth walks passed all the table right outside into the sun light. He stops looking back right at us. His face was partly in shadow but I think I saw him smirk before s group of girls walked passed and he was gone.

Rogan:

Crescent Pack was on full alert rogues we're spotted in town and outside the borders of pack land. Sightings were not rare or unusual but the numbers were. They were spotted rogues in groups and there was nothing more dangerous than organized groups of rogues prowling around pack territory. Rogan was irritated that the meeting had lasted so long but knew it was important. Right after he unlocked his phone to call Ethan.

"Hey what happened to you guys?"
Ethan asked as soon as he heard the call connect.
Rogan smiled through the phone at his blatant admission of missing him or so he wanted to see it anyway.
"Pack emergency so to speak but everything his sorted at the moment."
Ethan released a breath.
"Well that's a relief. It was very obvious something big was going on. Plus I just realized today how many shifters are actually at the school."
Roman closed his bedroom door smirking.
" We're one of the biggest packs."
Ethan laughed.
" Now your just bragging."
Ethan teased turning on his back. They talked a little more about their days before saying good night.

Roman came up the stairs a few moment later dragging a hand through his now slightly messy raven hair. He was still a little worried about the lack of physical evidence about the supposedly large group of rogues but his father believed in facts so he let his concerns be for now.

He picked up his phone laying on his bed frowning as he realized he still didn't have Ethan's number. He digressed his brother giving it willingly so he tossed the device on the beanbag seat in the corner of his room. Tomorrow was another day and he was going to get to know Ethan Crane, starting with a ride to school it sounded simple enough but competing with his brother was never a easy feat but Roman liked the challenge. Turning off the light he had a smile on his lips thinking about a certain blonde male.
