Sarah POV
"Yay! We're here!" I laughed. "I thought we would never make it, with Annikka stopping for all the food vendors on the way," I teased, grinning. Annikka rolled her eyes. "I thought so too," Jess laughed. "Oh, come on you guys, it's not all the food shops. And today is gonna be fun! So quit teasing me and let's get into the mall." said Nikki, grabbing my arm and dragging me out of the car. "Okay, okay." I chuckled, straightening out my cardigan. It was a 15 minute drive, but it took us half an hour to get to the mall.
Jessica POV
We walked into the mall. "Oh my gosh... So many stores, I can't decide which one to go into first!" squeaked Annikka, who seems not to worry about anything at all. "Let's go from this end of the mall, to that end of the mall," Sarah suggested. "Okay!" Nikki said. We entered my favorite shop, Marks & Spencer. Nikki immediately let go of my arm to go look at the corner of the store filled with dresses. She just LOVES dresses. I wanted to go shopping for shawls. Sarah went straight for the section labeled "Accessories". I looked to the far end of the shop. There was a whole wall lined with shawls. Oh, boy. I thought. It's gonna take a while for me to choose just 3 shawls....
Annikka POV
I looked to my left.
There was Jess, with 2 ladies in uniforms already helping her with the stack of shawls she was picking out from an ENTIRE WALL OF SHAWLS. Poor Ladies... I thought. But then again, that's they're job. Jess is probably gonna get 2 or 3 shawls, and it's gonna take her a while to choose. On my right was Sarah, with a dozen necklaces hanging from her hand. Most of them were Swarovski and Pearl decorated necklaces. There were a few wood-bead decorated ones. They looked like something Pocahontas would wear. I smiled. I absolutely love Pocahontas. I smiled as I spotted a girl with curly blue hair by the denim jackets. I walked behind her slowly, reaching my hands out and then I covered her eyes. "Guess who!" I said, smiling. "Annikka!" she gasped, removing my hands and turning around to hug me. "Kelly! What are you doing here! You live in L.A.! Whatcha doin' all the way here in London?" I said. "Came here for a concert, and you. Oh, I missed you and your sweet british accent!" she giggled. "You are exactly the same as last time I was here." she said, taking my shoulders and spinning me so she could see my outfit. We always do that to each other, to make sure there aren't any tears or things that don't match in what we're wearing. Don't even ask me why there would be tears. "I missed you and your American accent too." I smiled, spinning her around this time. She wore a plain purple top, with a studded denim vest, black skinny jeans, and the black leather studded boots I got her for Valentine's Day. As for accesories, she had a Star Spangled Banner ring, The the black and gold teardrop earrings her mum got her for Christmas, a black spiral bangle/bracelet with Swarovski on it, and a black bandanna. Killer-Girl themed outfit. Or rather, Kelly-Girl Themed outfit. Typical Kelly clothes. She looks like a gangster girl, but she's really sweet and sensitive. She's the kind of girl who can make guys faint or shiver by glaring at them. (I'm not kidding. Happened to a guy from school name Tyler once. He was like, the macho, bully, football captain type of guy from school, and everybody thought Kelly was his girl, and he tried to ask her out, she said, 'No way, jerk!" and glared at him, and he fainted. I'm not lying! It took a glass of cold sour lemonade to wake him up. My idea, of course.) Anyway, Kelly can look like a complete jerk, but she's really sweet. You'll think she's kind of like a Jade West from Victorious, but once you get to know her, she's like Cat Valentine. Incidentally, she's dating a guy named Beck Roberts. Who else thinks that's kinda funny? Like, she's similar to Jade, who's dating Beck Oliver, and she's also similar to Cat, who loves Robbie Shappiro. Robert Shappiro. And she's dating Beck Roberts. Get it? I think it's amazing. "So, where's Beck, Kell?" I smiled. "He's actually over there, shopping for a new belt, since Rex got to his last one. Again." she laughed. Rex, their dalmatian, loves belts. All kinds of belts. I slept over once, and left my jelly belt in the bathroom that night, next morning I go to the loo and find half my purple jelly belt gone, with holes and spit all over the half that was left on the floor. Rex hates squeaky dog toys, but loves belts. I know, it's quite strange, actually. The dog doctor said that he had some brain problems, and that he was a 'special needs dog' . "Since the mother had 8 other pups besides him, it's normal. There's usually 1 or two odd pups from the litter. He's kind of like- um, an autistic puppy. Of course, if you don't want to take care of an autistic dog, you can choose from the other 8." the doctor had said, to which Kelly replied, "No, we'll take him! He's perfect. Just needs some love and extra care, that's all!" and the doctor seemed surprised. Guess it's not normal that gangster-looking type girls eagerly adopt an autistic dog and show so much care and affection. "Well, alright. If you'll just sign here-" Kelly interupted him by snatching the papers and scrawling her signature on all the blank spaces. Since then, she's kept him and loved him like a child. "I'm just going to say hi to Beck, alright?" I said. "Sure! I'm just gonna warn ya, his cousin is there too," she winked. My smile vanished. "Oh, no... Kelly, why'd you let him come along?!" I groaned. Beck is wonderful, very sweet and caring, but his cousin Nicco?Horrid, I tell you. Just disgusting. What's the word americans use? Oh, yes, I remember now. Gross. And worse, he likes me! I blinked. "Are you joking? Please tell me your only joking. Kelly, please?" I begged. "Sorry," she smirked, not sorry at all. "I hate you!" I said, punching her in the arm. "No, you looooooooovvveeee meeeeeeeeee!" she said, with that smirk still on her face. "Fine, I love you." I sighed. "But I hate Nicco." she smiled. "Yay! Nikki loves me! Nikki loves me!" she started hopping around like a little girl. I looked around, people were staring. "Kelly, stop it! You're embarrassing me. I'm gonna go say hi to Beck." I said. "And possibly murder Nicco."I added to myself. "Nah, you won't. You haven't got the heart to kill anyone! And you love Nicco! Just think how cute that will sound! Nikki and Nicco! Yes! It sounds perfect!" she teased. Ugh. Kelly always hears everything I say under my breath. Always. What is it with people and teasing me today? I thought. "Stop it, or I will hurt you, I mean it." I threatened giving her the death glare. "Fine," she smirked, knowing she had annoyed me. "Though you don't sound very threatening with that sweet british accent of yours." I rolled my eyes and walked over to Beck. Like Kelly said, Beck was at the belt section. I poked his back. I love Beck. He's amazing. Total opposite of Nicco. I shivered at the thought of him. He turned around. "Annikka!" he exclaimed, letting go of the belts he had in his hands. He was an entire foot taller than me, but I didn't mind. He didn't look intimidating at all. "Beck!" I mirrored his excited tone. He picked my up and squeezed me. "Can't...breathe," I choked. "Oh yeah, sorry." he put me down. "How are you and Kelly?" I said straightening out by cardigan. "All good. I tickle her, she kicks me and fakes hating me, I say I'm sorry and cook pasta, she says it's not as good as yours but she loves me again," He laughed. That was their morning routine. "But she loves me more, cause I cook better." I smirked. He fake pouted. "I love you most," said a voice behind me. I shivered. Nicco! I turned around. "Oh, hello there, Nicco! How are you?" I stammered, looking behind me to glare at Beck as he laughed. "I'm good. I just got a new laptop, and I bought a car!" he said confidently, as if mentioning he had new laptop and a car was the most attractive thing in the world. "I um, well, that's wonderful!" I said, trying my hardest to keep my half-digested pancake breakfast to stay in as he did his 'smooth dance'. "If you don't have a car or laptop, I'll share mine with you!" He said, as he did the last part of his dance. "The Failing Moon Walk" I call it. It's where he tries to be smooth like Michael Jackson and fails. "I'm fine, actually, I'd rather you don't share anything with me, that's too kind of you, thanks, anyway." I choked. "Well, I'll be over there if you need me, just gonna be shopping for a new jacket, cause I gave mine away, cause I'm that nice." the awful 19 year old finished, winking at me and walking away. I took a deep breath. "Beck!" I smirked. "Now I've heard those terrible lies from him, give me the truth." This was what usually happened. Nicco tells me this bunch of 'cool' lies, and walks away thinking I'm impressed an will fall in love with him. I play along with him until he leaves, and then Beck tells me the truth. "The laptop is from Aunt Rebecca, and he rented a car for a week using the money I gave him. Both were birthday presents. And about his jacket, it's ruined because he tried doing the launďy and used bleach instead of laundry soap." he laughed. I giggled. "Now tell me why you dragged him along." I demanded. "Because he wanted to come?" Beck lied. "You are terrible liar. What did he promise in return, Beck." I said, looking straight into his eyes. "N-nothing!" he stammered, his eyes darting from me, to the left. His left, my right. I remembered what Sarah taught me. If a person is lying, their eyes will most probably keep glancing to the left. Their left, your right. Her voice said in my head. "Beck William Roberts, tell me right now." I said, giving him my do-it-or-die look. "Alright, alright." he sighed. "He promised to make me unlimited cookies for the next 3 months." he said. I burst out laughing. "Seriously?" I asked. He nodded, blushing. "Beck, I will tell you my recipe for my Lipkies-" His eyes lit up. Beck loves my Lipkies. Those are, my ChocoLate ChIP CooKIES. He thought of the name. He said they were as sweet and perfect as Kelly's kisses. He's been begging for the recipe for 3 years. Since I made my first batch of them.
