Annikka POV
"I'm starving," I stated just as the lads walked back into the room. They all looked tired, beads of sweat rolling down their foreheads. "Ew, you boys look gross." Kelly said plainly. "Why, thank you ma'am. I'll take that as a compliment." Harry said sarcastically as they all sat down. "Oi, at least we're still hot." Louis joked. I and the rest of the girls giggled and Kelly shrugged and Niall smiled a little, though I didn't understand why, I mean- Kelly just said he looked disgusting. "Who's hungry? Except Niall, of course." Skylar teased. I saw Zayn's eyes follow her every move. Niall frowned. "Why except me?" he whined. I giggled. "That question doesn't apply to you, Ni. You're always hungry." Skye laughed. And everyone, even Niall joined her. When we had finally recovered from the laughing, Liam spoke up. "I'm hungry." he said very seriously. Akward silence. Then we all burst out laughing again. Sarah nudged me and whispered. "Invite them over. I can- I mean, Kelly, Skye and Jess can help you cook. We can do some groceries on the way home." I smiled and nodded at her. "Well, ladies and lads, would you like to come over to my place? We can pick up some groceries on the way." I proposed. Niall's eyes lit up at the word "groceries". I laughed. "Yes, Niall. We'll do the groceries if the rest of the lads and ladies don't mind." Niall looked around the room with puppy eyes. "Hey, quit looking at me like that it's impossible to say no!" Kelly whined. "That means she and I are in, blondie." Beck laughed. Anna hesitated, but then she took one look at Liam who was talking to Louis and smiled brightly as she nodded. Jessica, Lily, and Allyssa said "Alright," simultaneously. "Well then, let's go!" Louis exclaimed, standing up. We all did the same. Liam scratched his head innocently and blushed a little bit. "Anna, would you like to come ride with me? The rest of the lads go in different cars." he asked cutely. She bushed at that and nodded, taking his arm. "Isn't Lianna cute?" Harry teased as they left the room. I shook my head at him. Cheeky lad. "Yes, they are so cute!" Jessica squealed. "Well- miss Jessica, would you like to come ride with me?" Harry offered politely. "Oh, I would absoloutely love to, but I've got a car to drive." She said sadly. "Aww, don't be sad Jessica. You'll see the love of your life in half an hour at the grocery, love." Kelly laughed. Jessica blushed and punched Kelly. "Ouch!" Kelly whined and backed away. "See you in half an hour then, love." Harry smiled and winked at her, then he turned and left. Jessica's eyes watched after him dreamily. "Oi, Jess." Kelly said, snapping her fingers in Jessica's nose. She blinked and blushed redder. "Sorry." Niall, Zayn, and Louis were still in the room standing akwardly. Zayn opened his mouth to say something but Skylar smiled and said "Yes, Zayn. I'll ride with you." He grinned widely and they left the room. Louis's phone rang he smiled and answered it as he left the room. "So, uh... Annikka?" Niall stammered, blushing. "Yes, Niall." I told him. He reached for my hand and took it. "Allyssa, Lily, would you like to ride with Jessica?" I offered. "Sure!" Lily said. "Annikka, that's a perfect idea!" Jessica exclaimed. "Perfect." Allyssa smiled. "Which grocery?" Jessica asked. "Just so I know where to drive." she added. "My favourite, Sainsbury's. And it's not so far from home." I replied. We all left the room and got into the cars. Niall texted the rest to follow Jessica's car and we drove to the grocery.
Niall's POV
I smiled as she got inside the car beside me. I'm so glad Sarah suggested this. Yes, she whispered. But I heard, since I was really close to Annikka. I know Lily always says she likes me too, but I can't trust that. I need to know from Annikka. And a lot of people say that the way Annikka treats me, she likes me too, but Annikka's always been this nice. Maybe she's always liked me? I really don't know. for now, I'm just happy I get to spend the evening with her. I'll get to see her smile and joke around. I remember her smile earlier, when Kelly said I and the lads looked gross. I don't care.
*At Sainsbury's*
Skylar POV
Riding with Zayn is amazing. I got to hear him sing All About Us by He Is We ft. Owl City. Both bands I love and this is my all time favourite song. I listened as he improvised. Sitting beside him, hearing him sing is amazing, but doing the groceries with him? Just perfect. Niall opened the car door for Nikki, and Zayn opened the car door for me. "Alright guys. Everybody grab a grocery buddy. Get a large cart and get whatever you want. Be back here in half an hour." Kelly said as we entered the grocery. I grabbed Zayn by the arm and he smiled. "Zayn is my grocery buddy!" I announced. We all "buddied up" as Kelly and Beck, Annikka and Niall, Jessica and Harry, Anna and Liam, then Sarah and Louis, Allyssa and Lily. We all grabbed carts and each pair of "buddies" were assigned with a security guard so we wouldn't be mobbed. "Let's go get some yogurt." Zayn and I said simultaneously. Our eyes lit up. "Strawberry yogurt." We blurted out at the same time. He grinned and I giggled. "It's my favourite." I told him. "Mine too," he replied.
