Library laughs

JACE POV
"Well, I'm happy you don't want to lose me, because you won't, as of now I pronounce you to personal advisor, you get to advise me on who I should befriend and who I should not.....and this, is a very special power because I would never give this to anyone, not a future girlfriend, wife, child, whatever, only you" I say. Clary smiles.
"Thank you jace" she laughs lightly.
"Good, now, do you want to go to that new library that opened a block away?" I ask.
"Yup!" Clary says. We stand up and go to the library. Clary and I walk pass the halls of the library.
"I DON'T WANT TO SPEND THE NIGHT WITH YOU!" I look at a table and see a girl and a boy. The boy looked embarrassed. I was about to burst out laughing shamelessly. But three months of talking on the phone quietly at night, and full on all day friend dates have taught clary a lot about me. She covers my mouth and backs away from the scene with me. Then she pulls me into a family bathroom. Finally I burst out laughing.
"Who picks up girls in the library?" I ask in between laughs. Clary glares at me. When I finally calm down we get out of the bathroom. People look at us in a weird way.
"He has a bladder problem" she whispers. I give her a look that only she could decipher. She giggled a little and pulled me away. We walk back, and this time it was the boy who was on the table and the girl was standing up.
"$500 FOR A NIGHT?! THAT'S TOO MUCH!" The boy says. Clary rolls her eyes and pulls me out of the library. I burst out laughing yet again.
"You're going to hell" Clary says.
"I'll be waiting for you there!" I say happily. Clary slaps my forearm.
"I got my braces when I was eight, and my head gear when I was nine" Clary says. I nod. "My braces and head gear come off when I turn 15" Clary smiles.
"That's sophomore year" I say. Clary nods. "I'll miss your headgear" I say sadly. Clary scoffs.
"I won't...at least without this thing I'll look slightly pretty,"Clary says.
"Yeah...And I'll be pregnant"
"What?" Clary asks raising an eyebrow.
"I thought we were listing off things that are imposible....because you can't look anything other than beautiful, Clary" I say. It's true. Clary is beautiful, inside....maybe not out, but definitely inside. Clary smiles and blushes.

CLARY POV
I fall into bed, I turn off the lights and crawl into my bed. I start to think about today, how Jace always made me feel so warm and nice. How butterflies bounce around in my stomach. Even though we've been best friends for only eleven months, I still feel extremely close to him. I sigh as I look at the ceiling. We graduate from middle school in two months. And now, I notice, I have a crush on Jace...I like Jace...and there's no way in this damm world that he will ever like me back.
