Things get embarassing, Period!

CLARY POV
I was sitting with Jace in his arms. I snuggled closer to him. We're on winter break, finally! I've felt as if it's been ages since summer break. We were watching Elf. I sigh happily as I see Buddy the Elf eat chocolate spaghetti. I stand up and look at Jace. "I need to go to the bathroom," I say. He nods, not taking his eyes off the screen. I go to the bathroom and look at my face in the mirror. I wake up everyday expecting to see someone gorgeously beautiful, but I never see someone like that, i sigh and pull my pants down to sit on the toilet, i absentmindedly look at my underwear. I almost scream in shock and fear. Blood was everywhere. Oh my god! I just got my first period! I know the ages are between 9-16, but I didn't think it would happen now! Today! In this place! Then, a horrifying thought crosses my mind. I take off my pants completely and close my eyes. No stains, no stains, no stains! Please god! Please! I open my eyes and see a huge red stain. Shut the fuck up! No! Oh my god! What if I stained the couch?! The stupid couch is stupid white! I try to remember if I stained the couch, then I remember looking at the couch and seeing nothing but white. I let out a breath of relief. What am I going to do?! I can't just go up to my boyfriend and say "oh hey! I just started my first period! Do you have a pad I could borrow?" Ok, clary calm down! Pull up your pants and tell Jace you need to leave. Sprint to your room and Change and take a shower. Yes, that's a good idea...right? I put on my underwear and pants and go out to see Jace staring at the T v bored. I look at the white couch and see the couch white. Thank the holy angel.
"Uh, um J-Jace," I curse myself for stuttering. "I uh, need to go, mom's calling me, she needs me for, uh, something" Jace looks at me with a weird look. His eyebrow raised.
"Why does she need you?"
"Uh...Christmas decorations.." I lie.
"Clary, your house is already a christmas fun house...do you really need more decorations?" Jace asked amused. Jace then looks at the wall and cocks his head to the right. "Why is there paint on the wall?" He asks. I look at the wall and pale. Period blood was smeared on the wall. Thankfully it's wood, so you can easily wipe it off.
"Um, i don't know! What a coincidence, why don't you get the paper towels and clean it while I go home and help my mom...yeah?"
"Why would it be a coincidence?" Jace asks. I was getting annoyed, frustrated and embarrassed.
"I don't know! Why don't you figure it out." I reach for the door knob, but the door then opens revealing Justin. He smirks at me. He puts his arm on the door blocking me from my escape.
"Well,well,well, someone's having an intreasting day" Justin says as he raises his eyebrows.
"Move it or you lose it!" I snap. He quickly pulls his arm away. I sprint quickly to my room.
