I was playing with Clary's curls. I've never seen her without her headgear....but Clary isn't clary without it... I smile at Clary and she smiles at me. I felt peaceful with her in my arms. But little did I know that this was the last time I would be this comfortable with Clary.

Clary had left to go to the orthodontist, she needed to get her teeth checked. I get a text message. I quickly and excitedly grab my phone to read it, hoping it was Clary.

Unknown:Come outside

I frown but go outside anyways. I then see Sebastian standing below the street lamp. The white light shining on his black hair. I walk up to him. "What?!" I ask coldly.
"You're a liar Jace Herondale..." He says. Rage heats up my body. Why can't he just leave me alone?!
"FINE! YOU'RE RIGHT! I NEVER CARED ABOUT CLARY! I NEVER EVEN LIKED HER! SHE'S NOT PRETTY AND SHE DEFINITELY ISN'T BEAUTIFUL! AND THE ONLY REASON WHY I'M GOING OUT WITH HER IS BECAUSE I PITY HER! The relationship was never going to work anyways!"I yell.
Sebastian looks up at me, with the sickest grin you could ever imagine.
"You, have made the biggest mistake of your life" Sebastian says, then he starts laughing in a sick tone. He raises his phone and plays the voice memo, it was me saying all the things I just said. "Now...Listen up, if you don't want this voice Memo, to be herd all over the school on the last day of school, you will break up with Clary, publicly, with me in the room, Hall or anywhere near the area, and you will do it in the cruelest way possible.." He says.
"No! I won't do that!" I tell him.
"Fine....but you want to know what I was doing these past two summers?"
"No, not really"
"Well I'll tell you anyways!" He snaps. He grabs a photograph of me kissing a girl that I've seen around while walking the halls. "I was in photoshop camp...and I was also taking a Psychology course and doing community service in a psychiatric facility..." He says. "And a long with the voice memo, I will make sure that there are big posters of this picture everywhere in school... And knowing Clary, she will never forgive you for cheating on her...She won't even forgive her mother for cheating on her father...why would she forgive you?" He asks. The asshole had everything planned out.
"Why are you doing this?do you hate Clary? Or me?" I ask.
"I'm just keeping my word Herondale, you didn't complete the task I asked you to do when you moved here...and now...you're going to pay for it..." He says.
"Fine...I'll do it.." I give in. I can't have Clary think I cheated on her...i can't...not only would she never forgive me... but she will be broken, I don't want her to be broken. And that's when I finally come to the realization. I'm in love with Clary....I've always been in love with her...Ever since she played Mercury in the play we made last year. I'm in love with the girl I have to crush.
