CLARY POV

I go up to Jace and the girl. "Hey, what's going on?" I ask.

"Clary, thank the angel, this is-,"

"Hiya! I'm Blaire! Nice to meet you! Goodbye now!" The girl says and yanks Jace away roughly.

"Blaire! Give me a second!" Jace says as he yanks his arm away from Blaire. Blaire grabs his arm and drags him away. Jace sighs. "I'll talk to you later!" He yells. I smile and nod.

"Ok! Bye!" I say smiling. As he turns the corner my smile turns sad.

I was with Izzy all day. She said she wanted to have a makeover. So, I just went with it. Izzy looked even more gorgeous than before. I smile at Izzy as I finish putting lipstick on her. "You're so beautiful Iz," I say as I look at her. Izzy smiles.

"So are you Clary...When that headgear comes off you will be braking heart right, left and center" She says with her Izzy smirk. I laugh a little.

I slip out of my window and run towards Jace's house. I climb the inclined tree. I look into the window. I see Blaire in Jace's room. She was laughing. I stare at both of them. Blaire's head then snaps towards me, fire in her eyes. I almost fall off the tree. but I grab onto the trunk. I pull myself up. Jace sees me and rushes towards me. He grabs my arm and helps me up. "Hey, what are you doing here?" He asks.

"I uh, I didn't think she would still be here," I say, my face red. He huffs out an amused breath as he tucks my hair behind my ear.

"She's my cousin...thats why she's here," I felt relief untie in my chest. "Listen...When she falls asleep, i'll go to your room ok? She didn't see you, she asked me to check out whats out here" He says smirking. I nod.

"Ok," I say lightly. He kisses my forehead and retreats to his bedroom. I go to my room and leave the window open. I fall asleep in my bed.

JACE POV

Blaire finally fell asleep. I slipped out of the window and went to Clary's room. I Climb up and find the window open. I slip in and close it lightly. I Slide into her bed and look at her for a minute. How did I ever think this girl was ugly? I thought i was telling her "You're beautiful as a dare...I ended up saying it as a truth. Maybe there's more...Maybe you don't only think she's beautiful...Maybe you don't just like her. My conscience suggests. I roll my eyes. I'll leave the maybe's for tomorrow. I sigh and put my head next to the redheads head.

BLAIRE POV

I wake up and grab my luggage. I write a quick note and walk down the stairs. I leave and call a cab. everyone thinks I'm weird, but I don't care. I know I was with the Herondales for only a few hours...But still, I missed home...and i think Jace needs alone time with his girlfriend...What? You really thought i didn't catch on? Please, I'm Blaire, the weird one...the weird one knows everything.
