CLARY POV
I walk into school, it's the last week of the torture they call school. I see Jace on the stairs. He had his hair ruffled and he looked a little tired. I sit down next to him and smile. "Hey!" I say happily. He looks at me then looks away. "Are you ok?" I ask.
"I'm fine... I just...We should get to class," He says.
"Uh, ok" I walk with him to our class in silence.

Time passed quickly and I was walking home. I go inside my house and see my mom and Jace's mom talking. "Oh! Hi Clary!" Jace's mom says.
"Hi Mrs.Herondale!" I might call her Jace's mom in my head, but I always call her Mrs.Herondale when I'm talking to her.
"Clary....how many times have I told you? Don't call me Mrs.Herondale, it makes me feel old....Call me Celine" She says. I nod smiling. I go upstairs and organize my sketch pencils since i have nothing to do. I get a text and I pick up my phone, hoping to see Jace's name, instead I saw my dad.

Dad: Hey Beautiful, I sent you the plane tickets so you can come visit me. If you change your mind then just tell me

I forgot! I promised my dad I would spend the summer with him!

Me:Hey Dad, I hope you don't mind, but i'd like to spend summer here, I promise you I'll do Christmas though! (This time I do promise)

My dad quickly responds.

Dad: Ok Beautiful, I'll see you in Christmas

I smile and put my phone down. I grin and go downstairs.

I go out the door to go see Jace, it's been two days since I texted my dad, Jace has been ignoring me, and that's why I'm going to see him since tomorrow is the last day of school. I climb the tree and knock on his window. He was reading, and he didn't look up from his book. I knock again and he looks up. He opens the window. "Yes?" He asks.
"Are you ok Jace?" I ask.I see some emotions flash in his eyes, but it was so fast I couldn't catch them. "Yeah...I'm fine," He says. I smile brightly.
"Good! Because I wanted to give you this" I say happily. I give him the drawing that I made for him. "I'm sorry it's really bad," I say. Jace looks up at me.
"No Clary...this is perfect" he says. I smile at him.
"Jace...."
"Yes?" He asks.
"I love you," he freezes as I say that, right as there was a knock at the door. He kisses me and pushes me lightly onto the tree.
"We'll talk about this later ok? You need to leave," he says. I nod and slide down the tree.

JACE POV
The door opens and reveals the last person I wanted to see. Clary just told me she loved me...what the fuck am I supposed to do now?! "What the hell do you want asshole?!" I ask
"It hasn't happened yet, you haven't broken up with her...everything is set up at school, you have until 10:30 to tell Clary about this...if not then I will take over" he says. I huff. We leave school at 10:40, it gives Sebastian enough time to say a speech about how Clary meant nothing to me.
"Yes! I know! I'm not stupid! Now leave!" I say angrily. He closes the door and walks away. I sit on my bed as I clutch the beautiful drawing clary drew, a single Rose, with Clary's signature at the bottom. How am I going to do this?
