JACE POV
I have never been more confused in my life. The next day I went to kiss clary and this happened.

I walk into school and see Clary. She looks beautiful. How come I never saw this until now? She has beautiful red hair and pale skin with green eyes and the headgear just adds to her beauty. I walk towards her ready to kiss her. "Hey Jace," She says.
"Hey," I say. I leaned towards her to kiss her when she wrapped her hands around my neck and hugged me. She pulls away.
"Want to walk to English together?" She asks.
"Yeah...Sure" I say acting as if I didn't just get friend zoned.

I sigh in defeat as I slam my math book shut. I Go outside and see Clary's hand on the door about to knock. "Hey," I say.

"Hi! I was thinking maybe we could go to the movies...My mom gave me two tickets to see Jumanji" She says.

"I didn't think you liked adventure," I say. Clary shrugs. "Why not," I say grinning. We go into the movie theater. we had stopped at a Walmart and got some candy and a backpack to smuggle it in. We go inside and wait for the movie to begin.

VALENTINE POV

I was extremely happy. the company is doing so well! It's giving me so much money that we can buy a mansion in Paris and move there if we wanted to and have apartments all over the world. I sigh as I open the door to my house. I open it and see Jocelyn on the couch. She was making out heatedly with my best friend from high school, Lucian Garroway. I drop the keys to the door, making Jocelyn look up. She gasps. "Valentine.." she says.
"What in the god dammed is this?!" I ask.

CLARY POV
"Zoology bitch!" I quote Jace and I keep laughing as we walk towards my house.
"Everybody knows you can't get in the water with a backpack on!" Jace quotes. I laugh and then look at him.
"Thank you for coming with me...today was great" I say smiling.
"Thank you for inviting me," Jace says. I smile even bigger. Jace's phone rings. He picks it up. "Hello?" Jace asks. Then he quickly pulls the phone away. "Jeez! Ok, ok! I'll be there in a second!" He says. He then hangs up. "My mom wants me to come home...I'll see you on Monday ok?" He asks. He then kisses my lips taking me by surprise and leaves. I watch him get inside his house. I take in a deep breath and turn around. The door opens and I see my dad's best friend Luke. He ignores me and walks a block away where his car was. Then he zoomed off. I go inside and hear my parents yelling.
"Stop! What's going on?!" I ask. My parents look up at me.
