Tuesday, January 9th

Namjoon held the large glass door open as the elder stepped through. Yoongi's eyes widened again as they stood in the busy lobby of the large orphanage.

"He works here?!" Yoongi whisper-yelled to Namjoon, who was fumbling for something in his pocket, shoving the bag under his arm.

"Shut up and act natural," the younger sighed and pulled out a card covered in a plastic casing.

Yoongi tried to put on his best poker face as they walked further into the lobby.

They passed a reception desk and the women at the front stopped their work, opening their mouths to say something to the two boys but before they could say anything, Namjoon held up the plastic covered card.

The older would never admit how scared he was walking past them like that. There were two police officers wandering around the room, looking for trouble.

Trouble happened to be two senior boys in high school, apparently.

Yoongi walked very close to the younger as they passed by other people and held his empty cup. Namjoon led them through a large hallway until they stood with a small group of people in front of some elevators.

The younger wanted to chuckle at how seemingly nervous Yoongi was. He knew that Yoongi wasn't the anxious type but it was oddly funny to see him like that.

A loud ding was heard from above them and the elevator doors slowly opened. The small group of people shuffled into the small room, barely having enough room for all of them.

"Floor 7 please," Namjoon called to the woman to at the front.

Yoongi was stood next to Namjoon, stuck shoulder to shoulder. He was still clutching his empty cup of ice while his eyes danced around the small room. Everyone there seemed so professional, it made Yoongi even more uncomfortable in his band-tee and flannel. The security camera in the corner didn't provide any comfort either.

The doors opened a few times and people stepped out, making the space less crowded. The doors opened again and Namjoon grabbed Yoongi's arm and pulled him out onto the floor.

Immediately the noise of loud children filled their ears. Yoongi's first instinct was to cringe while Namjoon remained unfazed. He's come and brought Jin his lunch on multiple occasions.

The younger walked through the walkway, grabbing the paper bag from under his arm. Yoongi followed quickly behind while his fingers were still in his ears.

After walking past about ten doors the area started to get quieter and quieter. Yoongi slowly took his fingers out of his ears as Namjoon stopped in front of a large door. He turned around and held his pointer finger up at Yoongi, signaling him to be quiet.

The elder nodded and then Namjoon slowly opened the door. Jin was seen in the middle of a room full of blanketed plastic cribs. He was sitting in a rocking chair, soothing a small baby to sleep to some soft music.

Yoongi watched the youngers eyes soften at the spot while he rolled his own.

Jin looked rather shocked to see his boyfriend and Yoongi, but he was more excited about the paper bag Namjoon had in his hands.

Yoongi's eyes wandered around the room while he looked at the different posters and decorations hung on the walls. He didn't mind being there, not in this room at least.

Kids are tolerable when they're sleeping.

Before he knew it, Namjoon was holding the door open for him again to leave. He waved at Jin before he stepped out of the semi-silent room into the hallway. They could hear the playful screaming down the hall and Yoongi immediately put his fingers back in his ears.

Namjoon chuckled and walked down the hall. Yoongi followed closely behind and they stood while waiting for the elevator. When it came it was empty, which was oddly comforting to the elder. Namjoon laughed again when he watched Yoongi slowly uncover his ears.

"You still have that stupid cup." Namjoon tsked at him and chuckled again.

"Shut up I haven't found a trash can." Yoongi rolled his eyes at him.

"There's like seven in the lobby!"

"Then I'll throw it away when we get there!"

The boys quickly shut up when the elevator stopped and another couple had stepped into the small room. Yoongi was giving Namjoon death glares for being disrespectful while Namjoon covered his mouth to silence his laugh.

Eventually, the doors opened again and everyone walked out into the lobby. Yoongi was set on finding a damn trash can now. Namjoon followed amused as Yoongi led the way through a building he'd never been in before. His eyes were bouncing all over the place, looking for a bin.

He jumped up when he saw one and he began to fast walk towards it. Namjoon wanted to shout at him to behave because they absolutely cannot get caught here. That plastic covered card is just an old gift card to the supermarket that looks like the official cards from afar.

Once he tossed it in the trash, he turned around to smile triumphantly at Namjoon. The younger just rolled his eyes and grabbed Yoongi by the arm, pulling him out of the orphanage.

It was good that they rushed, it caused them to miss a pink haired boy passing by.
