Yoongi waited till school had gotten out, busying himself with cleaning his room and watching anime on his phone.
He decided to wait an hour before he would head over and the clock had finally reached three. So he texted his mom that he'd be home later and he went. He didn't listen to any music while he drove, not wanting to ruin this empty state of mind.
Numb, he felt a bit numb. He knew he should feel terrified. Yoongi was about to learn the deepest, darkest parts about Jimin but he couldn't feel anything. The drive felt like hours, everything seemed to run in slow motion.
So when he finally rolled up at the orphanage, he didn't hesitate to get out and walk in. This time he had to actually stop at the front desk.
"Good afternoon Min," the same blonde woman that sits there every day said.
"I need a visitor pass and the floor number to see Miss Luna," Yoongi said as he took his id out of his wallet.
"You're her 3:30 appointment?"
"Indeed," Yoongi sighed as she scanned his id and handed it back.
"She opened up two whole hours for you kid, use it wisely," she said and handed Yoongi a bright yellow sticker with his information on it, "floor 9, room 6."
Yoongi thanked her before he walked to the elevator lobby, looking in before he walked through to make sure that Jimin wasn't lurking about. The coast was clear and so was the elevator so he got an easy ride up.
The floor he got off on was strange, it was like he was directly in a hallway full of doors. They were clearly private offices but it was pretty weird to walk into. His head turned to the left, the first door being two, so he kept his gaze on that side.
Once he got to six, he knocked without waiting, without thinking first. Maybe it was good that he was numb, he can't stop himself from being too nervous. A 'come in' was heard from the other side and Yoongi let himself in.
There she was, the woman with long black hair and thin red glasses. She smiled softly at him before she gestured him to sit in one of the chairs in front of her desk.
"Thank you for coming Mr. Min, may I call you Yoongi?" She asked and smiled at him.
"Yes ma'am."
"Aw lighten up, I'm not here to pester you so don't look so down. My office is a place of happiness and relaxation- for the most part," she giggled and pulled out a thin stack of papers.
They were stapled at the top and Yoongi could see some law mess printed at the top. That's when he started to feel a bit nervous, this was actually a real thing that was happening to him.
"Now, I understand your situation and I don't want to be one to say that you can't keep things to yourself but... I'm gonna have to ask you to sign this legal document in the incident that you tell anyone about this I can sue you. I really really don't want to have to do that so I'm trusting you," She slid him the papers with a black pen on top.
Yoongi's mother was always a woman of business and she told him to never sign anything without reading it first. So he scanned through it, making sure it wasn't something crazy. It was what she had said so he quickly scribbled his signature on the black line at the bottom.
