"So, that's what I'm going to do," Yoongi said to Namjoon as they sat down in first period.

He had told Namjoon his plan to ask Nari out. Pull her aside when she's away from her friends, ask her to hang out with him at the coffee cafe a few blocks away, then ask her out on the real date. He thinks it's pretty foolproof, considering that they've been friends for so long it'd be odd for her to reject just hanging out.

"I think it's a good idea. I'm really glad you're approaching the dare this way instead of the other way." Namjoon chuckled and tore his book out of his bag.

"What?" Yoongi's voice was soft.

"You know? Not making Jimin speak and just letting it go..?" Namjoon's voice had gotten softer as well.

"I'm not- It's not- Fuck." Yoongi sighed and laid his head on the desk.

"Hey, just try that okay? There's no reason to make the boy speak if there's no consequence of not. So, ask her out and have fun on the date. Okay?" Namjoon smiled and his eyes glanced over at the teacher that stood in front of the class.

Yoongi looked up at him, nodding before he pulled his head off the desk to avoid getting called at.

He will do it. He will ask her out.

And there he was, watching Nari put her books away in her locker. It was lunch time, the bell had just rung for everyone to go to the cafeteria and eat. She was standing alone, pulling her lunch box out of her locker.

Yoongi was completely panicking as he walked up to her. He kept repeating 'now or never' in his head as he approached her. As soon as he was beside her, she closed her locker and jumped at the sudden face behind the door.

"Oppa! You scared me," She laughed and hit his shoulder playfully.

"H-Hey I just wanted to ask you something?" His cheeks lit up in a light pink, trying to hide how much his hands were fidgeting.

"Is everything okay?" She asked, a sweet tone to her voice.

"Yeah! Everything's great! I was just gonna ask if- if you wanted to maybe possibly come to the coffee cafe with me sometime this week?" Yoongi asked as fast as his mouth would say.

"Oh. Yoongi oppa, that's very sweet but you're just not my type you know? And we've been friends for so long yeah?" She said, twirling her hair between her fingers.

"Y-Yeah."

"And our ends just don't meet like that. I'm all this and you're just, that. You know? It'd never work out. Try asking less pretty girls, more your level. I'll see you next period!" She cheered and walked off to enter the cafeteria.

Yoongi stood there as he watched her long black hair flow as she walked away. His heart was crushed, there was an ache spreading through his chest. He loved this girl and she rejected him so quickly, she had no hesitation to take him down.

His feet were carrying him again before his brain could function. He didn't want his dream to be over so quickly. And right before his hand could touch her shoulder, one of her friends pulled her away into the cafeteria.
