Tuesday, January 9th

"Yoongi wake up," Namjoon said as he hit the back of the older's head.

The final bell had just rung, meaning school was finished for the day, and Yoongi had fallen asleep within the last thirty minutes of class. Namjoon took Yoongi home every day, it's something they'd been doing for a while. Yoongi could get his own car, he's had his license for a few months but he sees no interest in driving himself when someone else could just do it for him.

With one final last shove, Yoongi shot up. He looked sleepily at Namjoon who stood there with his bag hung on one shoulder.

"Let's go, class is over." The younger chuckled and watched Yoongi messily get up.

The older shoved his belongings in his book bag, too tired to care about the organization of it all. Namjoon tapped his foot on the tiled floor and waited patiently for the other.

"Oh and I gotta make a stop today," Namjoon said as Yoongi stood up.

"Again? Where today?" Yoongi huffed and threw his bag over his shoulders.

"Jin's work, he forgot his snack."

"Excuses, excuses. He would've been just fine without it." The older sighed and they began to walk out of the classroom.

"He needs his snack! Shut up and I'll stop at the starbucks." Namjoon rolled his eyes.

"Wait really?"

"Yes, now sh," Namjoon said and held the door open for the elder to walk out of.

Yoongi fast walked to the youngers car while Namjoon chuckled slightly at his eagerness. Tell Yoongi you'll get him coffee and suddenly he's putty in your hands.

They walked through the cold winter air and filed into Namjoon's car. He started his car and blasted the heat, knowing Yoongi would complain about the temperature sooner or later.

The elder played with the radio till he found a station he liked while Namjoon pulled out of his parking spot. Namjoon has learned to just let Yoongi have control over the dash, he's too picky to be messed with honestly.

"Starbucks first?" Yoongi asked, pulling his seatbelt on.

"Yes, I don't want to hear your nagging more than I have to." Namjoon sighed, stopped at the turning lane, and pulled on his seatbelt.

Yoongi looked happily out the windows as they drove to the shop of his dreams. He doesn't remember when he started loving coffee but it's one of his favorite things on Earth.

He couldn't hide his excitement when he watched the younger turn into the over-hyped coffee shop. Namjoon didn't even have to ask what he wanted because it's always the same drink.

"Iced caramel macchiato with an extra pump of caramel please," Namjoon answered when the drive-through machine asked for his order.

Multiple thank you's were said when the cold drink was placed in Yoongi's hands. He was now silent as the drive continued, his mouth staying on the plastic straw the rest of the ride.

They'd been driving for fifteen minutes, not that Yoongi was getting impatient, but he wanted to know how long this was going to take. He still had homework and a cousin to tutor that evening.

"So, where are we going again?" Yoongi asked and stirred his straw around the cup.

"Daegu Official Orphanage," Namjoon answered blankly as he flicked his turn signal on.

"What? Why there?" Yoongi asked.

"Well, that's where Seokjin works."

"Yeah, no shit. I meant what does he do there?" The elder rolled his eyes and sipped his almost empty drink.

"Oh, he's a daycare worker. It's leveled in floors by age and he works with the babies and toddlers." Namjoon said and turned into a large parking lot.

"That's so gross."

"Shut up, not everyone hates children." Namjoon rolled his eyes.

"I don't hate them, they're just like nasty and- oh shit. This is the place?" Yoongi's eyes were wide as he looked at the nine-story building ahead of him.

"Yeah, what'd you expect?" The younger asked and parked into an empty spot.

"I don't know some worn down place, how'd he even get a job here?" Yoongi asked and shook the leftover ice in his cup.

"I actually don't know, I've never asked," Namjoon said as he reached into the back seat and grabbed a small brown paper bag.

Yoongi just nodded and both the boys got out of the car. Namjoon shoved his keys into his pocket and looked over at Yoongi, who was still staring at the building in awe.

"Act normal, they'll kick us out in heartbeat," Namjoon said and started walking to the orphanage.

"Wait really?" Yoongi asked and followed behind the younger.

"Yes so chill out."

"Is this illegal?"

"Eh... Maybe."
