(y/n)'s POV
I flickered the light again and Phil glanced up from his book. Dan smiled at me from across the room.
"Okay, maybe we need to call the electrician," Phil said.
"I told you it's the ghost," Dan said. I made a face at the title 'ghost' and Dan laughed. Phil glanced to where he was looking, right at me.
"What the heck are you laughing at?" Phil asked, still staring at the spot in which I was standing.
"You," Dan covered. Over the past 2 days, it had been harder with Phil around, asking questions. I sighed, deciding that maybe I should sprinkle him too.
Phil seems okay, and would be fascinated with a supernatural being in the home, but we couldn't be sure. Not to mention, Dan could forget me once he didn't have to be careful around Phil. I'd also get in way more trouble if anyone found out.
I felt my stomach flip at the thought of execution. What I had done was horribly wrong and I could die. Ambriel wouldn't let that happen right?
I had been distant and bad to him lately, so maybe he would. Dan noticed the worried look and glow and flashed a look of concern.
"Okay, I'm just going to bed," Phil said, and Dan only nodded.
I was also distancing their friendship. Their videos and observing them during the beginning was way different than now. Dan was always protective and worried around me. It would be better.
"I'm doing it," I said. Dan looked to me for explanation, but seemed to get what I was saying and followed me to Phil's door. "We have to wait until he's asleep, so stay out here," Dan nodded and I went through the door. Phil was pulling the covers over, and dimmed the lights with his new dimmer switch. He turned to his side and I flew up to his dresser. It wasn't nearly as comforting as Dan's, but I waited it out until I head soft breaths coming from him.
I went over and sprinkled the pink dust over him and I could see his eyes shift around under his eyelids, and I knew he'd have the dream soon. I left, unable to change my actions now and headed back to Dan. He was waiting, sat on his bed and I joined him.
"Hey, when I sprinkled you, what kind of dream did you have?" I asked, genuinely curious. He seemed uncomfortable with the question.
"Uh...well I was near a country road, and there was a crash, with you and your, uh, boyfriend. Then I was in some hospital, and they were saying that they hadn't found you fast enough and you asked me why I didn't save you," he explained. I watched in awe.
"That must've been scary, sorry," I apologized, but he shook it off. I heard loud shifts from the other side of the thin wall, and I knew it'd work soon.
"Hey, thanks for doing this," he said. I shrugged.
"Just don't neglect me or anything, I've kind of got no friends," I joked, but his face fell.
"I'd never," he said. I nodded, and he just looked away, embarrassed. I noticed him yawn.
"Go to sleep," I said, getting up.
"Wait, you can stay in here," he said. I looked at him.
"Dan, I need to be there when Phil wakes up," I said. His face went red and he sat back.
"Right," he said, and I just gave a tight nod, disappearing into Phil's room.
Philly's POV
"Stop!" I heard a scream from the next room, and I dropped my beer I was so surprised. I don't even like to drink beer that much, especially not at parties. I went to investigate the room and I noticed a man on top of a girl, her struggling.
