Abuse
Abuse is a word
Often associated with physically
Being harmed
In a manner that is degrading
So what about emotionally
Those words they say
The ones they whisper
The ones they yell
The ones they tell you everyday
You're not enough
You're worthless
You're aren't good
That's still abuse
That still kills
It gets in your head and it sits
Eating away like a cancer cell
Until there is simple nothing left
But that
It's still abuse
It's degrading and
It's terrible
And it's still abuse.
