"how's your life there?" mrs. kim asked her son while holding onto him. taehyung held his mom's hand whilst it was onto his shoulder. "it's fine, i've met a lot of people already." taehyung answered that made his mom smile.
"and are you friends with them?" mrs. kim asked once again, but this time, ara was looking at him. she was anticipating for his answer. taehyung felt that he should do something. sugarcoating.
"i know not everyone could be your friends. but i actually am friends with them. we used to be just six, then we met this one boy. bad people were bullying him so we helped him. now we're seven," taehyung explained.
mrs. kim smiled again. she was happy that her son is actually being like that. since they lived in a small town in daegu, taehyung had never been too close with people. kids his age aren't an exception. he was contented with ara forcing him to play with bears and dolls.
after they cleaned their mom, taehyung wrapped their mom in a blanket while ara squeezes the towel to dry. "how are you really doing there?" ara asked that made taehyung look at her. "i mean, i'm not doubting you. but maybe i'm 99.7 percent there," ara added.
taehyung smiled at what ara said. she really does know her brother. "those six people i'm with, that's true. but me being friends with them? i don't know. i mean, yeah they're my friends. but that's up to where they could be to me. just friends." taehyung muttered with his head lowered as he explained.
he himself is confused with what them the seven boys are to each other. he had been scared of saying that since he thinks it's ridiculous. "but what do they think of you?" ara asked. she was confused too.
"... i-i don't know," taehyung muttered. "oh. okay. always take care there, yeah?" ara answered. taehyung looked at his younger sister, "w-what?" he asked.
"when you come back there, take care." ara rephrased. "c-coming back?" taehyung queried. "yeah, or are you not coming back there?" ara was confused. "i don't know," taehyung managed to answer despite of being unsure.
ara didn't know friendships could be this complicated. taehyung was forced to move on seoul to continue his studies. he also didn't know he would face all of these. sure he expected he'll meet people, but he did not expect having a complicated relationship between six boys.
