"how was grocery shopping, oppa?" asked ara with a tiny laugh. taehyung never really liked doing those house things. taehyung placed the groceries on the table. "it was fine, i guess." he answered.
"but.. where's his corpse?" taehyung asked. suddenly making ara nervous. she was trying her very best to talk about this. "they already got it," she answered. she decided it's better to tell him the truth.
"w-who they?" taehyung asked, filled with confusion. ara sat down and took a deep breath. "the police, oppa." answered the scared and nervous ara. she knew taehyung wouldn't be happy about this.
taehyung did not want to be in jail. yes, he was a bad one. but he had his dreams that he wanted to pursue. and ara knew all of these. that's why she came up with a plan.
"what?! didn't we talk about this already?!" taehyung screamed. ara just remained sitting down with her head low. she was scared of this happening. but it's already happening.
"i did what i think is right," ara added which made taehyung look at her. "what else did you do, kim ara?" he sternly asked, looking straightly on her.
"oppa! please! don't leave!" begged ara while trying to remove the clothes that taehyung was putting on his bags. taehyung held ara in her wrist and moved her hand away, "no, ara. you've done too much. everyone i love is sacrificing for me. i can't stand this anymore," said taehyung before letting go of his younger sister's wrist.
ara just stood there, tears falling from both her eyes, watching her older brother pack his stuffs and regretting every single word she uttered to the police. she wishes that everything would go back to as they were. her and taehyung playing and running around outside their house while their mom cooks their favorite bibimbap and their dad cleans their swings.
"please oppa... don't leave me," ara muttered once again. hoping this would change her older brother's mind. but taehyung did not stop packing his stuff. "i'm sorry, ara. i'm so sorry. i could not handle the guilt and still live with you," said taehyung before zipping his bag close.
