jeongguk did what ara adviced. he started borrowing a pen from the reception and writing anything. the wind was a bit strong, but jeongguk did not let this bother him.

his hair was wrapped in taehyung's cap and he wanted to be in the rooftop as he found out that his inspiration was here. but he was suddenly stopped.

he remembered everything that ara said yesterday when he told her to relate real life to a blank notebook. it felt real for jeongguk.

he felt like ever since the things that happened between him and his friends, he decided to put a limit into everything he do. he even had a limit to his life.

he grabbed the notebook and cupped in his face. he was unable to write anything. he felt the need for ara. it was like she was his voice.

"kim ara!" screamed jeongguk. then suddenly, he felt his wheelchair move. he held onto it tightly, "please no! i don't wanna die!" said jeongguk with his eyes shut.

"stupid. you can give that foot some work," said ara that gave jeongguk a smile. ara flicked jeongguk's forehead as she thought he looked ridiculous on that smile. she really thought it was cute.

"w-what do you mean?" asked jeongguk. "when i pulled your wheelchair, you accidentally put both your feet down and you didn't even scream for any pain." said ara.

"wanna try?" ara asked. jeongguk nodded then ara approached him and held both his hands. jeongguk was shocked and fluttered. he did not what to do. "stand up, i'm holding you." reassured ara.

jeongguk looked at ara and saw that she had no crutches anymore. he did what she told him and he succeeded. jeongguk successfully stood up, but when ara removed her grip from him, he fell.

thankfully, ara was there to save him. but as jeongguk was heavy, they both lost their balance and jeongguk fell on his back with ara above him.

same thing happened on their first meeting. but this felt different. both pair of eyes were sharing gazes at each other and hearts beating at the same direction.

ara blinked her eyes and eventually stood up. jeongguk felt sad. he wanted it to last longer. "i-i'm sorry," she said that made jeongguk look at her. he stood up from falling on his back, but was still on the ground.

"n-no, don't be." said jeongguk. ara sat back on the bench, "so, shall we tell our doctors we're fine?" asked ara that made jeongguk shocked.

"no! we're not doing that!" he screamed that made ara shocked this time. "i mean.. i-i don't want to, yet." he added.

ara laughed, "aww, you'll miss the hospital? i mean, it's been a lot of months since we've been here and it's boring now." said ara.

"is it boring for you?" asked jeongguk that made ara look at him. "y-yeah," she managed to answer. "well, for me, it's not. i wanna stay here.. with you." said jeongguk.

but silence started to build up after he said that. ara was blank. she didn't know what to say as she also felt the same way but was scared to say it.

"so yeah, maybe we can keep acting like we're still weak and fractured," said jeongguk. "but if you really wanna leave, then it's okay. there's no way for me to leave this place anyway," he added.

"w-what do you mean?" asked ara. "my doctor said i won't be able to be discharged until someone pays my bills. the chance of that happening is smaller than anyone's dick," explained jeongguk.

ara stared at jeongguk. he was beautiful. it was still a big puzzle for ara to understand how cruel the world could be for this beautiful human being. but if there was something she knew, it's that she would never leave him.
