tears started to escape from her eyes for God knows how many times by now as she was cleaning her brother's room. memories from the past years would start playing like a movie whatever object she will pick up.
from the robots and cars that they would quarrel for all day as ara wanted to play with them but will end up breaking them into pieces as she would always lose control of them and hit them on the wall, which would make taehyung cry as he cherished each and every toy he had.
the gudetama stuffed bear that a girl who had a crush on taehyung gave him when he was in second grade. ara remembered that taehyung lied and said that he bought in a store near their school as he did not want to hear any teasing from them. but ara ended up exposing him which resulted him receiving all the teasing from their mom and dad.
then finally, the red journal that ara and taehyung looked up to as their drawing book when they were young. it was a thick notebook. so when ara and taehyung grew up, they still made use of it. they would take turns writing how their days were going. it was a plain red one, but since taehyung would insist of reading ara's writings, he would take it by force.
and so it would end up having a scratch or tear here and there but ara would be there, saving it by different styles of tapes. ara smiled, despite of the bitterness she was tasting from her tears. they're memories ara never want to forget. she just wants to keep them inside her heart.
but it was pretty pointless by now. her brother hates her now. she hugged the journal and tears continued to flow down. life is pretty pointless as well. her mom died with her dad. and her brother, her only hope left her too.
an idea suddenly popped in her mind. she wiped her tears then stood up and brushed off the dust that had been stuck on her skirt then headed out.
when they first moved in daegu, taehyung and ara were really excited to play all over the place. since they were close to the train station, taehyung and ara's first playground were the train tracks.
this is where they started, and so ara decided this is where she would give an end to it.
ara walked straight on the train tracks and stood there, hugging tightly on the red journal. she closed her eyes, waiting for a very painful hit. a smile formed on her mouth when she heard the horn of the train. this is it. it's finally happening.
when suddenly, she was given a painful just painful hit.
