"ara," said bora while looking at ara, trying to hide her smile. ara leaned on her and waited for her to say another thing. this indeed wasn't the usual ara, and bora knew.
"i wanna meet jeongguk again," said bora. ara was shocked but decided to hide it with a smile. she didn't expect bora to be this interested on jeongguk.
when jeongguk told his story on ara, she thought bora was this mean bitch everyone still adored. but maybe she was wrong, bora may actually be nice. "come with me then, i'm guessing he's already there." said ara.
bora helped ara with her crutches then they walked on the rooftop. when they reached the rooftop, jeongguk leaned his head and smiled. ara smiled, thinking it was for her.
but when she followed jeongguk's gaze, it wasn't on her. it was on bora. so he had been smiling and looking at bora all this time. she bowed her head and pushed bora lightly, "go. he's waiting," said ara.
she felt her heart ache, but she was also annoyed at how she was feeling. she was breaking without her knowing what's causing it. bora walked towards jeongguk and he greeted her with a smile.
a smile ara wants to have for herself.
she walked backwards and stared at them from afar. they were having fun, but that was for ara's eyes only. "she's looking, isn't she?" asked bora with a smile. jeongguk put his arms on bora's shoulder, but it wasn't really like that. his hands weren't even touching her shoulder.
he used that to get a chance taking a peek at ara, there he saw ara standing on her crutches. but her hands weren't on her crutches, they were moving around her cheeks. "she.. she's crying," said jeongguk.
bora's eyes widened, she didn't know ara could go that far. "fuck, jeongguk. make your move you dimwit," said bora. jeongguk looked at her, "what if she's not really crying? what if i'm just seeing th-" jeongguk was stopped when bora flicked his forehead.
"i know what she feels, jeongguk. i'm her nurse and i watch her 24/7. she's not the usual ara ever since we had been talking," explained bora. jeongguk was blankly staring at the skies.
he didn't expect ara to be that attached as much as he did. he never even expected someone would feel that towards him.
