"a-about your s-songs," started ara. but her head was lowered as she felt shy. "those were all inspired by you. at first, i really thought life had nothing to offer me anymore. my so called friends left me with nothing. but then i came into this hospital and met you," started jeongguk then looked at ara.
"you taught me how to be happy. at first i thought you were really dumb and stupid. but i realized that i shouldn't limit myself on everything." explained jeongguk that made ara look away.
but ara was not ready to tell him how she felt. she was uncertain about what she feel herself. so she decided to just let the topic she started go. "w-what happened with your friends?" she asked.
this is the only time ara asked about this. she was really scared to do so before because jeongguk had mentioned that those friends were the reason why he committed suicide three times.
"i had been bullied ever since i was studying. i was adopted by a nun in the orphanage, and everyone knew. then one day in highschool while i was being bullied, these six boys came and protected me. after that, they became my friends. but because i never really had friends, i was desperate for them to be in my life that i treated them like my brothers. their names are seokjin, yoongi, hoseok, namjoon, jimin, and taehyung." started jeongguk.
but ara didn't want to hear more. hearing seokjin and taehyung's names left a really big mark on her heart. ara looked away, she didn't want to interrupt jeongguk.
"then shit started to come and i realized that those six didn't even treat each other as friends. eventually, we all just needed attention. so we gave that to each other, when we already did, we just bam." jeongguk said. it wasn't his fault the boys only were together for their thirst of fame.
ara was not able to do anything. jeongguk noticed it and looked at her, "a-are you okay?" he asked. "s-seokjin.. w-we were supposed t-to meet. b-but w-when i w-was c-crossing the road, a t-truck h-hit me." sobbed ara.
jeongguk was shocked, but he wrapped his hands on her. he kept quiet and let ara talk. "t-taehyung.. he's m-my b-brother. h-he k-killed o-our d-dad when he w-was a-abusing me. b-but i t-took the b-blame as i-i didn't wanna l-lose him as well. b-but i s-sill did," ara said.
jeongguk was quiet. but he was shutting his lips together tightly as tears started to fall from his eyes as well. he hugged ara tighter.
the answers to every questions were answered. ara was the girl seokjin was so happy about. but ara was also taehyung's sister.
jeongguk was already falling for ara. but as bad as it already is, he can't just fall for seokjin's girl.
