"where's jeon jeongguk?" asked hoseok before he placed his jacket on the couch. jimin looked at hoseok, "he's out, as usual." he answered. hoseok sat down joylessly with what he heard. not because it was new for his ears, but because of the opposite.
ever since seokjin left them then taehyung did too, jeongguk had been doing this he has never done before. he became really cold with jimin and hoseok. but the two understood that. but after a week, jeongguk started going out early then won't go home until the next day.
he would even go home drunk and almost unconscious. he almost doesn't know the people around him. before, he was the one being bullied and getting bruises. now, it's him hurting himself and getting into fights. it's just not the jeon jeongguk they met.
"do you know the club he goes to?" hoseok asked, once again. jimin nodded, "i once saw a text from his friend saying the location of a club. i think that could be our answer," jimin explained.
hoseok wrapped his jacket on his body once again and both him and jimin headed out. they went on the club jimin saw. when they reach it, they went in. they asked the baristas, since he may be very popular in that club already.
"he left like an hour ago," the barista answered. hoseok and jimin gave their thanks before leaving the club. "he must be in this street, let's not give up." said hoseok whilst looking in his right and left.
they decided to seperate their ways hoping to find jeongguk easier. hoseok went on the right whilst jimin went on the left. not a lot of steps made, hoseok heard loud voices. he followed those voices and saw a ball which consisted of guys punching each other.
everyone were wearing black in the darkness the night was making. but hoseok had his eyes on this one boy. it was jeongguk. his head was covered with his hood, but the scratches were so visible on hoseok's eyes.
when jeongguk was already pushed down on the ground, hoseok's heart fell into pieces then straight to hell. he ran to those guys and punched them. there were a lot of them doing different things on him. but nothing was more painful than their friendship slowly falling apart.
hoseok was feeling different kinds of violations, but he felt a push. this push was different. the pain he felt was unusual from what he was getting before. when he opened his eyes, he saw him standing there with his teeth gritted together as a sign of anger.
he wiped the blood that was dripping from his lip, "what are you doing here?!" he screamed. hoseok looked at him, "what are you saying?! i'm here to help you, jeongguk!" hoseok screamed back. but jeongguk just let out a chuckle, "really?! help me?! wow! how! fucking! awesome!" jeongguk exclaimed while clapping ridiculously.
"enough that drama, gay fucks!" the boys shouted from their backs before punching them both once again. thankfully, jimin came and since this boy learned a few taekwondo, the so called bad boys were thrown away.
jimin handed his hand on hoseok and jeongguk. hoseok gladly accepted it, but jeongguk slapped it away and stood by himself whilst holding his stomach.
"what's your problem? why were you joining their fight?" hoseok asked, trying to keep calm. "how about you, hoseok? what's your problem and why did you join me joining their fight?!" jeongguk screamed.
"you know that's not my point, jeon jeongguk! i was trying to help you!" hoseok answered back. jimin did not want to interrupt as he was scared that he would just make it worse.
"well guess what? i APPRECIATE you guys coming for me. but! i! don't! fucking! need! help! especially if it would just be filled with lies," said jeongguk before leaving the two in pain.
