The very thought of telling her burned a hole in Oceanstar's mind she's just a kit! Could she handle the truth? She thought over and over, tossing and turning in her den. She clenched her teeth tight thinking maybe if she would bite down hard enough she would decide. Sandgorse walked in the den "Am I interrupting something?" He meowed jokingly. Oceanstar rolled her eyes "No! Do you need something or are you just her to make fun of me?" She trilled with amusement "Actually, yes I did come to ask you something, Lightwing's kits they are about to become apprentices." He trailed off " you're point is?" She urged him on "Spottedkit, do you think she can become an apprentice?" He whispered "Why wouldn't she be?" She asked inquisitively. Sandgorse looked away "I don't think the clan would approve." He meowed doubting like " The clan may not approve but I do and I think she deserves to be an apprentice as much as any kit out here." She meowed sternly " I understand." He bowed his head then looked up "Are you going to tell her?" He asked curiously " I have been thinking alot about it, but I still don't know." She answered kindly "Well I have to sort patrols." Sandgorse said with a sigh. As he started to pad away she called after him "Have fun!" She yelled jokingly. Sandgorse looked back at her with a look. Oceanstar trilled with amusement I have decided. I will tell her before she becomes an apprentice.
