Chapter one- A Flashback in Time

"Bella!" Jabe screams as she watches in horror as her beloved sister Bellatrix black is thrown across the room and into the wall by her ex boyfriend Ryan. Jabe can't help but wince as she hears the sounds of bones cracking. The pain that rested on Bellatrix's face emphasizes the fact that bones have been broken. Whipping out her wand, jabe blasts Ryan across the room much like Bellatrix had been. 

With a laugh Ryan gets to his feet. Jabe could smell the alcohol on his breath from where he stood. He was beyond drunk. "Stay away from her!" Jabe growls. Bellatrix struggles to get to her feet but the pain she was in was just to much. 

"How cute. Trying to defend your sister. Stupid but cute." Ryan laughs. Jabe growls at him, remembering what she had learned from her father. 

"Crucio!" Jabe shouts in absolute fury. The spell is so powerful it slams Ryan into the wall once more. The sound of breaking bones immediately follows and Ryan lets out a scream of pain to match it. Holding the curse for what felt like eternity, Ryan's screams of pain soon fill the room. Finally Ryan blacks out from the extreme amount of pain he was in. Jabe drops the curse and runs to her sisters side. 

"Bells!" Jabe says with tears. Bellatrix weakly looks up at her sister. "Jabe... You did it..." Bellatrix smiles. Jabe smiles at her sister, despite the worry that wracked her body. " I just remembered what father taught us." Jabe says making Bellatrix smile once more. As she tries to move she lets out a cry of pain. " What. What's broken bells?" Jabe frantically cries. 

Bellatrix groans before saying "My ribs. And arm." Jabe nods and gently takes Bellatrix's bad arm into her hands. She gently rubs her fingers over the clear break in the bone. Bellatrix grimaces in pain. "It's definitely broken bells. I have to get father." She says. 

Bellatrix nods. "Go. I'll be alright." Bellatrix says. She grinds her teeth from the pain she was in. Jabe nods and franticly runs to get their father. Once jabe had brought their father back she didn't leave her sisters side. 

"Bella my daughter. I need you to stand. Can you do that for me?" Cygnus black asks worried about his eldest daughter. Bellatrix grunts and slowy with her fathers and sisters help stumbles to her feet. "Just lean on me bells. Your gonna be ok." Jabe says. 

Bellatrix smiles at her younger sister despite her pain. Slowly the pair help Bellatrix to her bed. After laying down Cygnus gently runs his wand over Bellatrix ribs. "They are definitely broken. At least three." He says. Bellatrix manages a nod. 

Cygnus moves on to his daughters arm. "A compound fracture. I'm going to have to set this Bells." Cygnus says. Bellatrix nods. Jabe grasps her sisters good hand. Bellatrix slowly looks over at jabe who had ears streaming down her face. "You did good." Bellatrix whispers. 

Jabe smiles. "Well I wasn't going to let him kill you. You're my sister Bells. And I have to protect you." Jabe says making Bellatrix laugh slightly. "That's my job jabe..." She whispers. Cygnus smiles at his daughters before with out warning setting his daughters broken bone. Bellatrix lets out a scream of pain that makes jabe hold back a sob. 

"There now my daughter. The worst is over." Cygnus says waving his wand over Bellatrix's arm. A cast appears on her arm. "What happened?" Cygnus growls once that was done. "Ryan happened father. He attacked Bella." Jabe says. Cygnus's eyes flash with fury at this news. "She used the Cruciatus father. Perfectly." Bellatrix says. 

Cygnus's eyes fill with pride. "Well done jabe." He says making jabe smile. The wards that were around the manor had keep anyone from knowing that jabe had used an unforgivable curse. "I had to protect Bella." Jabe says. 

Cygnus smiles at his daughter. "And you did my daughter. I will deal with this scum. But for now Bella you need to rest." Cygnus says. Bella nods and Cygnus walks over before levitating the unconscious boy out. Jabe turns back to Bellatrix who smiles at her sister. She opens her good arm to jabe. Jabe immediately hugs her sister tighter. 

"I'll be ok jabe. Thanks to you." Bellatrix says. Jabe nods. "You did it perfectly." She says. Jabe smiles. "I learned by watching you Bells after father had first taught me. Where did you learn it?" Jabe asks. Bellatrix smiles before saying "Father took me to see him. The dark lord. He's training me personally." Jabe smiles and hugs her sister once more. 

"That's amazing Bells. Do you think father would take me as well?" Jabe asks. "I don't see why not. After the way you handled that curse, Father would be foolish not to." Bellatrix says making jade beam. "I hope so Bells. But for now try and get some rest." Jabe says. Bellatrix nods and leans her head back. "Bella?" Jabe asks softly. Bellatrix hums slightly. "Is he everything father described him to be?" Jabe asks hopefully. "Everything and more." Bellatrix says making jabe smile. Jabe lays her head on her sisters shoulder before closing her eyes.
