"What the hell are you even supposed to wear to a party hosted by All Time Low?" I looked down at the video chat again, waiting for some girly advice. Tonight was the night of the party and I was starting to freak out. I mean I don't go to parties, especially ones full of famous people. Arielle and Jamie had been there when I packed my bag and they had made sure I put a few nice things in there "just in case", well it's in case time and I didn't know anything about this crap. Sure I could put outfits together that includes jeans and a T-shirt but dresses and skirts weren't my thing. Arielle and Jamie looked at each other and smirked. Lord have mercy on my soul. Ari turned back to face me.
"So you know that dress we wanted to pack but you wouldn't let us?" I nodded my head, I knew exactly what dress they were talking about. "Well when you were in the bathroom getting your toiletries we might have packed in your bag."
"I'm not wearing that."
Jamie spoke up. "Please just try it on Har! It'll make your legs look killer with the right heels which we also packed for you."
I scowled at their smirks but turned to my closet and rifled through the clothing there. My eyes landed on the dress. I mean it was pretty and all but I just don't do dresses. It was a strapless, black, lace, dress that I knew I couldn't pull off. I look at the short material and turned back to Arielle and Jamie.
"Are you sure about this?" I questioned them but the girls just looked back at me with incouraging grins. I sighed and looked back at it. It is really pretty and it looked comfortable enough. "I have no shoes though."
Jamie scoffed. "Didn't we just tell you that we packed you shoes?" I stuck my tongue out at her and layed the dress on my bed. I turned to the closet and looked at the floor, there were in fact some ankle boots next to my Uggs. I had to admit these were cute. They were black with laces up the front with a 4 inch heel covered in studs and spikes.
"I still can't believe mom bought me all these clothes when she knew I would never wear them." Like I said before, my mom always wished I was girlier so she would buy me dresses and skirts with cute little blouses and heels. It was actually quite annoying but I never said anything, I knew she enjoyed buying me things like that.
"She just wants you to wear a dress every once in a while. You know she loves you the way you are, Har." I nodded my head because I knew she was right.
"Let's do this then."
*~*
"Ready to go?" I was stood in the doorway looking at the boys. Michael was the first to turn and look at me.
"Yeah we are.... Holy shit you look good babe." I blushed at Mikey's comment and went to stand next to him.
I felt Ashton's eyes on me and tried to ignore it. I felt exposed to say the least and tried to pull the top of the dress up a bit to keep my dignity. God, I should've worn a cardigan over this stupid strapless piece of material.
"I think this is the first time any of us have seen you in a dress, besides you know like for formals and shit." Was the only thing Luke said and Calum nodded in agreement. I laughed at his vulgar language.
"Nah, I've seen her in a dress a couple of times." I looked over at Ashton to see that he looked quite calm. All the other boys looked very excitable but he just looked me up and down smiling.
"You've seen Harley in a dress?" Michael sounded a bit pissed at the knowledge. I squeezed his hand to calm him down.
"Yeah, haven't you?" I could tell Ashton was trying to get a reaction out of him. I shot him a warning look but he just shrugged.
