Everything changes. It's something as inevitable as death. People change, and sometimes, we can't do anything about it, even if it's the single thing we want to be able to have control of. Often times, out of nowhere, someone special will just disappear from your life. Sometimes it's because of death, sometimes because he or she stops loving you and decides you're not worth the time and energy anymore.

It will hurt beyond you can fathom, some say it hurts like hell, and that is certain.

You'll cry yourself to sleep, wondering what you did wrong to deserve this. There will be times you'll wake up in the middle of the night thinking that you're all alone in this world full of people who never seem to care. You'll keep asking yourself when was the last time you had a good night sleep? It's for sure that after awhile, you'll blame yourself for everything. You'll think that you're the one responsible for him or her leaving you.

For some time, you'll have to release all the pain that's bottled up inside of you. You'll have to turn up the volume on sad songs and sob. You'll have to scream and feel every single ounce of emotion that you need to feel in order to be alright again.

Throughout this part of your life, you'll feel completely and utterly lost, but somehow, you'll discover that that's the best way at forging a new path and creating yourself, and rediscovering the parts of yourself that you lost. You'll find all of the missing parts of you. You'll find the part of yourself you lost while you were crying in your bed room at 3AM in the cold dark. You'll find the part of yourself you left between the bathroom stalls during your Biology period. You'll even find the part of yourself that you lost while you kept looking at your phone nonstop, waiting for a text from someone who will never talk to you again.

One day, you'll find that you're a completely different person. You'll see that just like people, pain changes too: fake smiles turn into real ones; 'broken' becomes 'alright'; days turn into months, months into years, and when you least expect it, everything is finally feeling okay.
