Karlie's POV
After a week of waking up early and leaving the house before Taylor and Maisie are even awake, it's a relief to wake up and not have to rush off anywhere. "Hey baby," I mumble as I move onto my side, Taylor's lying facing me as she hugs her pillow, "good morning." She smiles as she rubs her tired eyes. Maisie is sleep training which means neither of us get much sleep with her in another room. She sleeps through most nights but occasionally she'll have an off night and that happened to be last night.
"I've missed seeing your face when I wake up in the morning." Taylor moves over as she cuddles into me. "I've missed it too," I kiss her forehead as I brush the loose hair back out of her face. "How long do you think we have before she wakes up?" She sighs but I don't reply, we're both simply content in holding each other and we don't want to think about moving yet.
"Selena said she'd pick Maisie up at twelve." Selena happily volunteered to babysit Maisie tonight since we're going to this event, and Taylor quickly obliged, she loves Selena like a sister and she hates that she doesn't get to see her niece enough. "Are you sure she'll be okay with her? I mean how much does she really know about babies." I laugh softly and Taylor looks up, "she was twenty one and twenty two when her two little sisters were born and she dotes on them so she knows more than you'd think." She's playing with the strap of my tank top as she speaks, "are you definitely sure you're okay with coming tonight? I would understand-" I ask Taylor the same question for about the millionth time since she agreed to come, and this time she just cuts me off by holding a finger to my lips. "If I'm uncomfortable, in pain or want to go home, I'll tell you, so stop worrying."
Her eyebrows are raised and her face is serious, she hasn't moved her finger since she's waiting for my answer so I nod in agreement, not speaking to appease her little move as she pulls her hand away from my mouth. Her smirk is clear as she says "good girl," her voice flirty as she sings the words and I close the little space between us, my lips meeting the soft pink of hers, even after a full night they still taste of her coconut and cherry chapstick. She moves her hands to my waist, parting her lips to deepen the kiss, her tongue running over my bottom lip, begging for entrance as I part my lips to meet hers.
Taylor straddles my waist, a leg on either side of my body as her soft hands run over my exposed skin sending chills down my spine. She pulls away from my lips and takes her bottom lip between her teeth, her eyes glazed over with desire. My hands are on her hips but quickly find the hem of her loose shirt and pull it up over her head, throwing it to the floor, exposing her chest as she leans back in, her lips connecting with the skin behind my ear, leaving a trail of butterfly kisses along my jawline and into the crook of my neck.
Her blue eyes flutter closed again as she connects our lips and my tongue slips between her lips, a soft muffled moan escaping them. I move, pinning her under me as I kiss her, deep and passionate. Her hands pull at the hem of my shirt and I take it off as she sits up, pulling me in closer as her hands are up in my hair now. "You're sure?" I breathe heavily as I pull away from her kiss, leaning my forehead against hers. After everything she's been through, I never go far without checking with her first. "Mhmm" she hums back softly, barely paying attention to her answer as she pecks my lips and I smile before my lips meet her neck again, nipping her sensitive spot with my teeth as another muffled moan escapes her lips.
