Karlie's POV

"Taylor, baby you need to go or you'll be late." I smile as I walk into the playroom to find her sitting on the floor, fully dressed with Maisie in front of her. "I know, I know." She sighs as she gets back off of the ground, "are you sure you'll be okay with getting the twins ready and out of the house alone?" She picks up Maisie and sits her on her hip. Today is the morning of Abigail's wedding and since Taylor and Maisie are part of the bridal party, they need to be over at Abigail's to get ready and I'm responsible for making sure the twins and I safely make it to the venue and inside to find Taylor's mom and dad. "I'm sure. I know what I'm doing, Tay. I'll feed them and put them down for a nap and then I'll get ready and dress them when they wake up and leave for the venue." I cross my arms as I raise my eyebrows at her.

The twins are three weeks old now and Taylor is paranoid about leaving them, even if it is only for a few hours. "Do you have your pump?" I ask, knowing how forgetful she's become recently. "It's sitting by the door with everything else." She lifts Maisie up on her hip as she smirks at me. "I'll see you when you walk down the aisle." I smile as I lean in to kiss her and she lets out a breathy laugh. "Oh Miss Kloss, you could at least ask for my hand first." She laughs and I shake my head, I'll ask her one day, when the time is right. "Have fun, don't worry, we'll be fine." I laugh as I peck her lips and pull away again. "And you be a gorgeous little flower girl for auntie Abi." I smile as I kiss the side of Maisie's head.

I walk Taylor to the door as Ian takes everything else to the car. "Bye," she smiles as she kisses me and I smile, "bye, babe." She takes Maisie and walks down the driveway as I watch her go, smirking as her ass swings as she walks. "Taylor," I call out and she turns back to look at me, "I love you." She giggles as she shakes her head but she has a small grin on her face, "I love you too."

She gets in the back of the car with Maisie and I close the door once they drive off out of sight. The twins are in their swings in the playroom, so since they're not crying I decide to take the moment to prepare their next feed. I open the fridge and grab the two thawed bags of milk, I empty them into the individual bottles and put them in the bottle warmer. It only takes a couple of minutes and then I have to check the temperature, but immediately after that, one of the twins starts crying from the other room. I grab the bottles and a burp rag and make my way to the playroom where Theo is crying in his swing. Tilly still seems content, so I leave her where she is and grab tiny, turning the swing off and cradling him as I take a seat on the sofa.

Just as I sit down, Tilly decides she's not happy in her swing anymore and I sigh as I get back up and lie Theo in the boppy so that I can grab his sister. "Did you two make a pact to make this hard for me because mommy isn't here, huh?" I laugh softly as I sit back down. I grab the bottles as I lie Tilly along my legs, bringing Theo to my side but leaving him in the boppy. I slip a bottle into the mouth of each baby and they happily start guzzling away as I yawn.

I let Taylor sleep last night and dealt with both babies since 90% of the time they cluster feed and don't eat at the same time, but it meant I spent a lot of time awake, but it was worth it to give Taylor the sleep that she needed and to get the cuddles from my soft and warm little sleepy babies.

She was remeasured the other day for the alterations that needed to be made to her dress for today, and unsurprisingly her body has bounced back pretty quickly. She was a little insecure because she knows she has gained some weight, but it's clear that it's not in an unhealthy capacity because she looks healthier than ever and her body still looks amazing, and I think it eased her worries that the dress didn't need much altering from what they measured her at before she got pregnant. She made me promise that as soon as she's cleared, we'll make time at least twice a week to go to the gym together like we used to, and I happily agreed because the gym is my happy place and she's always so confident when she's been working out.
