67. I Loved You In Secret

~16 months later~

Time has moved quickly, and Tilly's nearly eighteen months old and Maisie is nearly two. The family of four have flourished into a happy and loving unit, and the children are still Taylor and Karlie's pride and joy.

The two women went back to work; Karlie spending the summer going to visit her 'Kode With Klossy' girls all over the country as well as walking in a small number of runways and doing photoshoots, and Taylor finishing and releasing her latest album after deciding she wasn't quite ready to give up her dream just yet. Karlie still works from home as much as she can, usually flying in and out of the country within one day so that she can still be there when the girls wake up in the morning. And Taylor managed to stick to her plan, and her tour dates are scattered with more time between them, and she hasn't done much press at all for the release of 'Reputation' but it was still a massive hit. It was a win for all of them because it means that the two girls always have one of their mommies at home if not both, and Taylor and Karlie don't have to miss out on any important parts of their children's lives.

"Tay?" The blonde hears a knock on her dressing room door and turns around with a wide grin on her face as her gorgeous fiancée appears with their daughters. "Mommy!" Maisie runs straight for Taylor and Tilly quickly follows as she kneels down and wraps her two little girls in a hug. "I've missed you guys so much!" She presses kisses all over both of their faces and makes them giggle as Karlie watches on at the scene unfolding before her.

Tonight is the first night of the Reputation Stadium Tour which means that Taylor has spent the last month in Arizona, and she hasn't seen Karlie or her girls in nearly two weeks. "Hey you." She gets up and hugs Karlie, kissing her lips as she wraps her arms around the taller woman's waist. "How are you feeling?" Karlie smiles, excited for Taylor because she knows how much she's been waiting on this moment. "I'm nervous but so excited, I love performing but it's been so long since I've done a tour." Karlie nods, "you're going to do amazing, and your three biggest fans will be waiting on the sidelines to cheer you on." Taylor laughs at the smirk on Karlie's face and then presses another kiss to her lips.

"Mommy come home." Maisie pulls on edge of Taylor's shorts to get her attention and the blonde quickly scoops the little one up. "Mommy's coming home with you, Tilly and Momma tonight, bug. You're gonna watch Mommy sing on the big stage first." Maisie stares into the ocean blue eyes identical to her own, and she plays with Taylor's ponytail, "missed you, mama." She coos and Taylor's heart melts as she cuddles her girl close before putting her back down on her feet.

"She's been trying to be really independent the past couple of days." Karlie laughs as Taylor smiles nostalgically as she watches her once tiny baby playing with her little sister. "I can't believe how big they are, babe. By the time this tour finishes Matilda will be two and Maisie will nearly be three." She can't quite believe that her girls are growing up so quickly. "Well maybe it's time to start thinking about expanding our family a little more." Karlie drapes her arms over Taylor's shoulders as her fiancée faces her, and Taylor raises an eyebrow.

"I don't know, Kar, we haven't even gotten married yet." Taylor's apprehensive because even though they're happy, they don't have time for anything between the girls and both of them working, and another baby would throw their balance out of whack. "I told you, leave that to me. I'm planning the wedding of your dreams." Karlie smirks and Taylor shakes her head before quickly jumping out of her arms to grab Matilda.

"We don't play with mommy's candles, jellybean." She scoops the toddler up into her arms and sits her on her hip. "This is why momma doesn't like candles." Karlie raises her eyebrows and Taylor rolls her eyes as she coos at Matilda. She's missed being with her girls like this.
