Taylor's POV

"Do you have to go?" I pout as I look up into Karlie's deep green eyes. "You've only been home a week." My arms are wrapped around her neck and hers are wrapped around my waist. "I don't want to baby, but I have to." Karlie sighs, she doesn't want to go and I don't want her to go either. "I'll be home in a couple of days and then I'm all yours, I promise." She leans in to kiss me and I relax as her lips connect with mine. We both knew that her career isn't like mine, she can't just stop working for a year like it's nothing, and as far and few between that her modelling jobs are, I still don't like it when she has to go.

"Call me when you land?" I sigh as she pulls away from me and I glance back to the car where all three kids are still waiting. "I will." She smiles as she lets go of me and moves towards the car to kiss the babies goodbye. "Don't give your mommy too much trouble." She smiles as she kisses Tilly on the nose, "and you little miss, give your mommy loads of cuddles until momma gets home." She scrunches her nose up as she laughs at Maisie who's hands are on either side of her face. "Be good, bug." She puckers her lips and Maisie gives her a kiss which is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. She closes the girls' door after grabbing her bag and she walks round the car, opening Theo's door this time.

"Hey there, little man." She smiles and he makes some small grunting noises as he moves around in his carseat. "No more screaming all night, okay? Your mommy needs her sleep too." She kisses his forehead and leaves a lipstick mark behind her which she quickly wipes away. She closes the door and as her management pile into the waiting plane, Karlie quickly wraps me in her arms again. "I love you, babe." She sighs into my hair and I run my hands up and down her back. "I love you too, be safe and let me know when you get there." I kiss her again and we eventually have to let go of each other.

"I'll call you soon." She gives me a sad smile as she lets go of my hands and grabs her bag, slowly walking towards the steps of the plane. I watch her till she's inside and then I get back into the drivers seat. Karlie waves through the plane window and I wave back before driving off of the tarmac. I take a deep breath as I glance back in the mirror to look at the kids. I've got four days alone with the three of them and it's going to be hard. Maisie has started walking all on her own which means we have to keep her secluded to one area of the house or spend the day chasing after her as well as tending to the twins and I'm already beyond exhausted and I don't know how I'm going to handle it alone.

"Hey, it's okay sweetheart, don't cry." I frown as Theo starts screaming in his seat, but I'm driving down the highway which means there's nothing I can do except listen to him cry which breaks my heart. I pull over to the side as soon as I can and I lean back to try and soothe him. "Shh, honey, mommy's right here." I try and slip his pacifier into his mouth but he won't take it so I grab my phone and open the white noise app, hoping it'll help settle him until I can get to my parents.

"There we go my love." I sigh a breath of relief as I leave my phone sitting in his car seat, the noise finally being enough to calm his crying. I pull out onto the highway again and try my best to get to my parents before we have another crying fit from Theo or someone else.

It only takes ten minutes to get to my parents house and when I pull into the driveway, I only have to wait for a couple of seconds before my mom comes out. "How are you, honey?" She smiles as we share a quick hug. "I've been alone with them for half an hour and I'm already desperate for Karlie to come home." I give her an exasperated laugh as I open Theo's door and I slip my phone into my back pocket before lifting his car seat out of the car. "He had a little tantrum in the car so I think he's hungry." I sigh as I walk around to the other side and she follows me. I sit the baby down on the ground as I open the other door and take Maisie out first, handing her to my mom before grabbing Tilly's car seat.
