Taylor's POV

"Where'd it go?" Karlie laughs as she sits in front of Maisie, hiding her stuffie behind her back as the baby giggles. "There it is!" She laughs as she brings it back out, booping Maisie's nose with the little duck as she stares at her with her big blue eyes.

"Karlie, you're going to drive her crazy." I laugh as she looks up to see me shaking my head. We're hosting a barbecue today, just like I had planned, so we're all in the backyard as we wait for people to start showing up. "She loves it." Karlie grins as she looks down to Maisie playing with her stuffie, sitting on the blanket with her little pile of toys, far away from the pool and the barbecue where she won't get hurt.

She picks her up as she gets up, bringing her over as she sits down on the sun lounger beside me. I'm sitting here in a sundress as I fan myself in the early afternoon heat. "Taylor!" I hear my name being called and turn round to see two little girls running towards me. "Hi guys!" I grins as I wrap them both in my arms without getting up. "You're so big! Who let you two get so big?" I have such a big smile on my face as I push myself up, cupping each girls cheek with my hands as they smile. "Where's your mom and dad?" I ask as I look around the garden and Karlie gets up to be by my side. "They were getting something out of the car." The oldest of the two smiles and I nod as I look at Karlie and Maisie beside me.

"Karlie, this is Hannah and Jess, they're Ian's daughters." I take her hand, squeezing it gently as she holds Maisie on her hip. "Girls, I'd like you to meet my daughter, Maisie, and her other mommy, Karlie." I grin proudly at Karlie as I introduce her to the two girls. Jess who's the youngest gestures for me to comes closer, so I kneel down so the little girl can whisper in my ear. laughing softly as I look back up to Karlie, "she does look like a princess doesn't she." I grin at her as she blushes, these girls are so cute.

"I see they found you." Ian laughs as he appears behind his daughters, holding the hand of his wife Claire. "They did, and apparently my girlfriend looks like a princess." I smirk as Karlie helps me back up, wrapping her arm around my waist as she stands at my side. "It's so nice to see you, I'm glad you guys could make it." I share a quick embrace with Claire before she greets Karlie, "it's lovely to finally meet you." The woman hugs her and as they let go, Ian reaches out for Maisie. "There's my favourite little bruiser." He laughs as he takes her from Kar. He's called her a little bruiser since she was born because of the jerky little movements she used to make that made it look like she was punching the air.

"There's food over there and the cats are running around inside if you wanna find them, but don't go upstairs okay?" I aim the last part of my sentence at the two girls who nod as they run off to find Meredith and Olivia. "They're so adorable, I've missed them." I pout as I watch the two leave. "Talk about adorable, look at her little face." Claire coos over Maisie and I smile proudly as I look at Karlie. She's ours, her little personality is a product of the way we've raised her.

"How far along are you now?" The woman asks and I smile as I look down at my baby bump, a hand moving to frame it. "I'm 6 months today." I reply in a breathy laugh, I can barely believe it, it seems like we only found out about the pregnancy yesterday. "Have you thought about names yet?" She asks and I raise an eyebrow as I look at Karlie who smirks. "Taylor lost a bet which means I get to decide on their names." I roll my eyes, "and that means she's been teasing me about it for weeks!" I narrow my eyes at her, I  know Karlie won't give them ridiculous names but that doesn't mean she isn't having fun teasing me with them.
