Taylor's POV

Karlie was determined to get me to come to this Mommy and Me class with her and Maisie this morning, so I  painfully agreed even though the idea of wearing real clothes made me wanna crawl back under the covers straight away. But, I eventually made it out of the bed, fed the twins and Maisie and with Karlie's help I got dressed to look like a normal human being for the first time in weeks. I couldn't quite bring myself to try on my pre-pregnancy pants, so I decided a pair of plain black maternity jeans would suffice, especially since I did just have two babies. I glance in the mirror as I walk past and I don't totally hate what I see. I look exhausted and my body obviously isn't back to what it was pre-pregnancy, but I don't hate it. I'm simply wearing one of Karlie's t-shirts, my black Nikes and a black leather jacket as well as my jeans. My hair is pulled back and I'm wearing minimal make-up but I'm counting this as a win.

"Tay, are you almost ready?" Karlie walks out into the hallway with Tilly in her arms as I look up, smiling at her in the mirror. "I think so." I turn around as I grab my keys and phone from the sideboard. Her mom and dad went to lunch with Kimby today since they haven't seen her since she moved here for college about a month ago, so Kristine agreed to watch the twins for us, well Theo anyway. Tilly has been unusually clingy this morning, so Karlie and I both agreed that it's probably best to bring her along if we actually wanna get out of the house.

"Is everyone ready to go?" I smile as I kneel down beside Maisie as she sits on the ground surrounded by a pile of toys. "Come on then, munchkin." I grab her and get back up as I balance her on my hip. "Are you sure you're going to be okay?" I ask Kristine for the millionth time since she got here. "Of course, we'll be totally fine." She sways back and forth as she cradles Theo in her arms. "And you little miss, are you going to help your mom look after your little cousin whilst we're gone?" Mia grins at me as she nods, she's been a lot more enthusiastic since our talk last night.

"We shouldn't be gone too long, but just call if you need us to come back sooner and the number for security is on the phone in the kitchen but they're number one on the speed dial." I give Kristine another reminder as I hold Maisie and Karlie puts Tilly into her car seat. "I know, now go and enjoy some time with your daughter." I look at Maisie and then at Karlie as I nod. We part ways and Karlie and I leave the house, taking my car since it's parked behind Karlie's in the driveway. We swap babies so I take Tilly and she takes Maisie from me to put her in her car seat and I clip the newborn's car seat into it's base and get into the drivers side. This is the first time I'm driving since I was like 30 weeks pregnant because I was too big to drive comfortably and Karlie started getting paranoid.

"Let's go then." She smirks as she gets into the passengers seat. She knows I'm nervous about this. I don't want people to judge us, and Karlie's sure that isn't going to happen but she can't be certain.

We make small talk as I drive, discussing the twins and Maisie and I bring up that Abigail has organised another fitting for my dress for her wedding in a couple of weeks, but all too soon we're pulling into the carpark of the kids activity centre in Nashville and there are butterflies flying around my stomach as I put the car in park. "It's going to be fine, Tay." Karlie squeezes my thigh and gives me a warm reassuring smile, but the nerves don't go away.

I slowly climb out of the car as Karlie grabs Maisie from her seat, and I take Tilly's car seat out, covering it with a muslin blanket so that nobody can get a glimpse of her. The world doesn't know much about our new twins apart from they've arrived, we haven't shared their genders or their names yet because we wanted our friends and family to meet them first.

"Is she asleep?" Karlie asks, talking as quietly as possible because she doesn't wanna disturb the baby if she is sleeping. I hook her car seat over my arm as Karlie grabs the diaper bag and I nod, she was asleep when I opened her door.
